So "Jag", is pronounced kind of like it sounds, but with a longer "a". So jaaag, kind of. Listen here, at the first alternative: http://tyda.se/search?form=1&w=jag&w_lang=&x=0&y=0
"Ä" is pronounced kind of like this, http://tyda.se/search?w=%C3%A4g&source_lang=ALL but understand that this is another word, so instead of "ga", you say r. So it becomes: "är".

Haha, much easier to look up sounds than to write them down. 🙂 At least when it's different languages.
