WTF? Seriously....It grosses me out. I've worked for this company for about six and a half months...and in that time I've used the bathroom on several occasions where the other sick fucker in the bathroom clearly took a shit and didn't wash their hands.
The funniest moment I had was when the guy in the stall next to me did the fake "I'm washing my hands" deal where he turned on the water for a micro-second and "washed" his hands...you've gotta be fuckin' kidding me!
 
xD Wow, that is pretty repulsive. Sounds like he avoids washing his hands on purpose! Any particular reason?

There was a whole Seinfeld episode about Jerry's girlfriend's father not washing his hands after taking a shit in the restroom of his own restaurant, causing Jerry not to eat any of the food there. 😀

You'd think people would know to wash their hands with soap and water. A cursory rinse doesn't cut it.

And Mils, I too remember that Seinfeld episode. It was hilarious.

Anybody remember a one-panel daily comic called The Far Side by Gary Larson? I saw one that pertains to this topic. The panel shows a restaurant dining area. You see a man just as he's coming out of the rest room. Above the rest room doorway a neon sign is wildly flashing amidst alarm bells. The warning sign reads "DIDN'T WASH HANDS!" The guy has this hilarious "Oh shit!" look on his face.
 
This topic always makes me laugh, but it is SERIOUSLY one of the nastiest, slovenly, just plain need a kick in hopefully wiped butt things around. YUCK!! And the funniest/most unsettling thing is, these guys will casually walk OUT the bathroom as if NOTHING is abnormal.
 
that is a no no that is how you can get HepA and HepB in some serious cases and that is just a big no no
 
I'll tell you guys this. I'm originally from the NYC area. Up in NYC, almost 100% of the people I used to see leaving men's room stalls would wash their hands. It was automatic. Since I moved to Lancaster, I can't tell you how many times I have seen guys leaving the rest room stall after sitting, and obviously taking a shit, and hot footing out of the bathroom without washing their hands. I stand there thinking to myself. "Dont you gross idiots know your contaminating not only yourselves, but also others around you?" Nasty!

Yeah that really is one of the grossest things people can do on a daily basis. Really makes you think everytime you go to shake someones hand.

But I don’t see the problem, I’m sure he sprayed a couple of shots of that bathroom cleaner in the toilet before he stuck his hand in. What else do you want? sheesh … :disgust:
 
Reminds me of a joke (which I have to paraphrase because I recall the whole thing word for word):

A guy from Yale, a guy from UT and a guy from Texas A & M are all in the restroom taking a leak. The guy from Yale, spends 5 minutes scrubbing his hands like a doctor, explaining that at Yale they taught him all about good hygiene and spreading germs. The guy from UT - same thing only not quite so OCD about it....he washed normally.

The guy from Texas A&M, says, well at A&M they taught me not to piss/shit on my hands. And walked out without washing.

I would hope that you'd report this person(s)?! It wouldn't be fair if you work in the "food industry" and this is going on. No matter what they are doing it's your responsibility to take action. if you get fired for speaking your mind I'll hire you! :justlips:
 
I actually saw a professor in the grad school I was attending come out of a stall after taking care of business and walking directly out the door without washing up. I'm long been in the habit of covering my hand with some paper to grab the bathroom door handle as I exit a public facility. I'm not a germaphobe, but I can understand why a lot of people get that way.
 
About ten years ago I worked at a company where damn near none of the men washed their hands after relieving themselves. I soon learned to avoid shaking anyone's hand, even when formally introduced ("Errr, sorry I can't shake. I have a cold."). Farkin' nasty stuff.
