Talk Me Out of Colliding My Worlds

Hello,

I have been contemplating merging my fetish world with my real world. First let me describe my situation:
- I have a stable job that pays the bills, currently #3 in the pecking order but considered a founder (whatever that means)
- I have residual income that takes care of my living situation.
- I am unmarried and have no dependents.
- I gave up my desire to get married or have my own family.
- I don't have any fetish related events that could come back to haunt me, that I'm aware of.
- I already revealed my fetish to anyone who can see my vanilla social media account, which is pretty much all my friend and people who matter.

I bring these factors up as I am heavily considering merging my "worlds" together (think of porn actor in this case). I want to step my fetish presence up considerably. My goal is to lower my fetish related costs ($1000/month average) as it seems like it is more of a lifestyle rather than something I can binge in and then coast for a few months.

I was presented with an opportunity to do some professional fetish shoots with an emphasis on tickling. I am planning to do these scenes without sequestering my face. Don't get me wrong, I hate the way I look, but I think if I am visible in this type of media it will increase my chances for more opportunities within it. I have dual fetishes, feet and tickling like most of you that contribute seem to have. Fetlife does not cater to these types of fetishes, shout out to TFP and Foot Night (among others), for trying to change that.

My chief aim is to break even on my fetish indulgences. On a more lofty level, I want to aid in normalizing a fetish that seems to be one of the largest in the world (i.e. foot fetish). In doing so, I hope to do my part to show that tickling does not have to be strictly torturous - I have no judgement against those that love the torture aspect as long as its consensual or left to the realm of imagination.

What would merged worlds look like? My IG, the TMF, and Fetlife, and subsequent social media forms would all be the same name. My face would be linked to all of them. Furthermore, my face would be exposed in video clips that may eventually find their way on Pornhub. Though my vanilla account would not be part of this, I would reference my work elsewhere on that vanilla account from time to time. I would then create another account on that same platform that would cater to the fetish realm. Those who know of my other outlets would surely find my vanilla account at some point.

Psychological prospective of the move is that I have a ton of self hatred. Exposing myself to criticism in would feed that negative narrative, in a way such a move is a type of litmus test to see if my internal narrative is accurate. I wish to control the message as it pertains to me. Opening up about my fetish has allowed me to control the narrative around it. I also want to be authentic to those I love. I am not sure what I will do if my internal narrative is indeed accurate.

The only fear is that my vanilla friends might get harassed in the process. I'm not sure how likely this outcome would be. A counter point, is that this move is the equivalent of throwing a pebble into the ocean. My life doesn't change in the least, and I am among the millions of folks who toil in obscurity.

TMF's own Wolf unwittingly through constructive criticism created the impetus for me to find outlets for my fantasies. Also to change my behavior as it relates to the shared fetishes. Where I once had a problem of mentally fantasizing abut some of my female friends, I no longer do that thanks to indulging in my fetish through TFP parties and individual sessions.

Now the question, why should I not merge my worlds?

My best guess, 99% of people aren't going to care either way. You'll draw the attention of a few trolls, who just want to disrupt and hurt, keep that in mind. Might get a few interested contacts from the material. I don't think this decision will have any large negative impacts on your day-to-day life. At some point, people who know you will probably realize this has been part of you for the entire time they've known you and this revelation hasn't changed who you are.
I could be wrong about all of this, of course. But I honestly think with all the noise out there you won't draw too much attention.

In all honesty? There's literally no reason to mention your irl for any reason. Everything you could "ideally" accomplish by doing this you could do with a kind of stage name that would leave fetish porn alongside you in any Google search. Even with your face you there related to it, there's nothing to gain from attaching your government name to it.

On a more lofty level, I want to aid in normalizing a fetish that seems to be one of the largest in the world (i.e. foot fetish). In doing so, I hope to do my part to show that tickling does not have to be strictly torturous

I say this with no ridicule or hostility, and I hope you interpret this as such; this a remarkably stupid goal.

I understand many, many people have this idea of "normalizing" or "mainstreaming" tickle fetish, and I feel it needs to be stressed that absolutely nobody thinks twice about it outside of fetish circles. Nobody thinks of it as scary, brutal torture when they hear it because almost nobody hears about it in the first place. "Mainstreaming" a fetish is an incredibly dumb idea in general because even the root of a "fetish" is someone that not everyone gets or gets off on and would strike them as odd. Trying to advocate on behalf of it under your real name won't change that.

As far as your face being out there, or you being more "comfortable" introducing it to real life friends and acquaintances? Go for it. My face is out there in videos and I have friends who know about me shooting videos. A handful of coworkers have caught wind and ask me how business is going every now and then, and it's treated as a casual if eccentric venture. That's fine. You "normalize" it in your personal life and you have fun doing it. But to go out of your way to slap your on-the-clock identity to it in order to -unless I've wildly misinterpreted your intentions here- more or less act as an ambassador to tickle fetish is a pointless endeavor. If anything, that would be counterproductive as it would make "the normies" view you as a guy who can't keep his sex life to himself, and that would be a disadvantage for you even without a fetish.

Ultimately it's your decision and one you seem almost giddy at the prospect of. But unless I've completely misinterpreted your intentions here, it sounds needlessly "open" and something that wouldn't benefit you at best and possibly annoy those around you at worst.

I appreciate your feedback. I agree that attaching my government name to my fetish persona isn't necessary. I guess I am insinuating that I am in "fuck it" territory. It does also read as this is something I am excited to do. I think it is more of a relief to go down this road for me. I also know what I ultimately do doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things.

Life goes on and in the end nobody really cares
