Actaully i see no problem with people having 1 sig pic and a quote. Ray's doing a nice thing to make pics for people. But notice the ones he is making are within forum specifications. In the rules section of the forum it clearly states how big a picture used in a signature can be. I don't think many people have read it though and it does'nt seem to get enforced. I can see how people might get a bit peeved at loading time for some of the slower bigger ones though. I just hope people take that into consideration and not clutter their posts with a ton a stuff before they even post replies...lol...Keep up the good work ray. The pics you and venraya are making look great. I'm quite happy with the pic i made for myself , but if i was'nt i would be asking for one of yours and venraya's creations also. 😀

Another thing to take into consideration is the file type/size. Obviously larger files will take longer to load. Converting things to a more compact image type takes less time. Sure, you may lose a bit of quality. But, what good is a sharper image if people don't wait to see it? 😎

We've been working to keep them within specs and trying to keep the load time down just for all the reasons mentioned above. I am on dialup with a 56k modem, so I know about long loading posts. This is why I put one pic per thread in the image section when I am posting pics over 75k.

In your user profiles there is an option you can click. 'Disable sigs' (or some such) If you use it you will not see anyones sig file.

Also on the topic check the rules forum. We have rules coverign sig size. We'll remove any that are too large. Most of Ven's have been well within the size rules.
