toneus79, hi! im actually saving up for a piece of computer equipment that will allow me to capture that. that was our first filming ever back in 1998 and as crazy as it sounds it was filmed onto VHS tape. no digital involved. so i have to have the hardware (which we don't currently) to transfer it from VHS to the PC. gonna take some time but it'll be a good clips once finished.

If you have a Digital 8 camcorder, or can get a hold of one, you can actually trick the computer into capturing it with perfect quality. You plug in the analog video and audio out from the VCR into the input of the camcorder. Then, you plug your FireWire from the camcorder into the computer. It will record like it is recording from your camcoder.
