Teasing V Silent Ticklers

Ok i just made up a theory. The reason why teasing is so effective and can make someone doubly ticklish, is because what tickling does is stimulate nerve endings and the most amount of nerve endings are in the brain. Hence if you are unconscious you are not ticklish!
So there would be 3 stages to being ticklish...
1. Perception i.e feeling that tickling touch.
2. Interpretation i.e interpreting it as a tickle, using your brain. This is where the teasing would come in for this crucial stage, in case your brain forgot that it was meant to be a tickle!
3. Reaction..i.e laughing, screaming. Then reaction would feed back positively like a vicious circle to the interpretation, making the lee even more ticklish.

I have found whispering to be highly effective tool...
Getting in really close to the lee, right next to her(in my case) ear and whispering what I am about to do or doing...or if in a group tickle describing what the other lers are doing at the time...

...can skillfully tickle and tease without saying it "a million times". But it just depends on what you both want. I for one, love the exchange during play. It adds so much to the sharing of it all. Nothing quite like the reaction you get when you call for a "Code Blue", and they go ballistickle 🙄 with anticipation, knowing what's coming. Or the hysteria you elicit when you dangle your wriggling fingers above them and call out their name, dragging it out several seconds.... yummmmmmmmm. I think Lite summed it up nicely... "I like to elicit laughter with my words as well as my fingers." Well-put. It's all part of the shared experience. I give it a whopping three 😉 thumbs up!

I learned about "Code Blue" from QBWeaver. She stood over a poor, defenseless, bound spreadeagle 'lee (I won't mention a name 😉 ), and said, "I don't think she's breathing...CODE BLUE!" then proceeded to "resuscitate" the 'lee with raspberries on the belly. 🙂
This, of course, does very little to help the 'lee breathe more easily 'cause she's too busy laughing like crazy 'cause she LOVES raspberries! 😀

Personally, I have not been part in a "Code Blue" scenario in as far as tickling is concerned soooooooo I will pass on this one.
To me, when I worked in the ER, a Code Blue was a whole other story and nobody was laughing.

Had multi tasks actually, basically I was what was called a Multi-Tech and or Patient Care Tech and every couple of nights I was in the Trauma Center. Also was/am a Phlebotomist and EKG(ECG)Tech. For another hospital I worked at a clinic doing bloodwork,developing X-Ray films and EKG's.

Ps. I work in a lab only now, kinda miss the action and diversity of the ER but then again, I can do without it.
Miss the overall diversity more though.

I agree that the tickler's teasing, taunting and laughing is an important part of a good tickling video. There is one precaution. I find this to be true so long as the ticklee's laughing etc. can be clearly heard and is not obscured by the utterances of the tickler.

TTD, I wasn't trying to make light of the type of Code Blue that occurs in a hospital setting; that is certainly not a laughing matter.

I was just pointing out that I had no experience in the tickling worlds code blue.
TRUST me lite, IF something rubs me the wrong way and you should know me, I would be more "expressive and blunt" sooooooooooo, in that light, LITE, fret not for you hadn't rubbed me at all!😉 😛 😀
