Hello, everyone,

For the past few days, Tickle Theater has been experiencing technical problems ranging from slow page responses to some people being completely unable to access the forum. We are working to determine the problem, and we thank you in advance for your patience.

Yeah; the one we've been using hasn't been very good lately 😉

i see the server is housed inside a PS2, run by a long dead hamster, and a measly circuit board....

val needs to crack a whip on TT and get him to cough up money for a server non-relyant on animal power.

if you downgrade to goldfish fusion, i'll kill ya.

Hi,

Your account is listed as still awaiting e-mail confirmation. Did you receive a validation e-mail from the forum with a link to click? Some e-mail services mistakenly send our confirmation e-mails to the "spam" folder, so be sure to check there if you didn't recieve it in your normal e-mail.

Maybe get a few more hamsters and have them run relays. The one might be getting tired by now.

We have put our main hamster on a strength-training regimen, and the board does seem to be running a bit better:

Yeah, we had him practice some sport and lay off the junk food.
Healthy life pays off.

As it seems we overdid with this low-carb thing, and the hamster ran away.

It took a few days to find a suitable replacement, but forum activities should resume as normal.

In the meanwhile, we received this postcard from somewhere near Orlando.
Somebody is enjoying a well-deserved... paws.

I think maybe pages would load better if people didn't put the entire Ebaum's World Signature Collection into their sigs. Maybe?

User CP. Control Panel. Edit Options. Display Thread Options. Untick.

Signatures are hosted off-site, they may slow your computer or choke your internet connection (if its 56k or something) but they don't lag the TT server.

Looks like TMF borrowed our hamster yesterday 😀 I'm just glad that we're all back to normal operations.

Normal being a loose term...

...

EDIT:

Breaking news shed some light on the shady matter.
Apparently, TMF and TTC hamsters fell in love and eloped overnight.

Paparazzi stole this enlightening shot from a secluded motel near Vegas.

"No pictures" yelped the surprised rodent.

(This is a workaround some people have found helpful. It may not always work, however, because I suspect AOL is blocking these e-mails at the ISP level.)

A workaround that some people have reported is to change some of the lower-case letters in the e-mail address listed for your account into the upper-case equivalents, then click to confirm the changes. You should then receive another validation e-mail from tickletheater.com -- be sure to check your spam folders, because sometimes it is delivered there by mistake. Once you click the validation link in that e-mail, your original account should be unfrozen.

If you still do not receive the e-mail, I suggest trying a Yahoo or Hotmail address instead.

Best of luck,

ok think I fixed it now... FYI for AOL get a quick hotmail acct to get reg. thx to all..rh.
