Interesting time for tennis fans, i'am pinning my hopes on the Canadian girl (Eugenie Bouchard) to win the ladies singles.
A lot of youngsters coming up and the old favorites some times dropping down a slot.
Not a murry fan i think the media have given him, too high a profile.
Also no tennis expert just thought i might most a topical, and current item, that may interest the sports fans.

Yes I agree, Murray did not display the resolve and grit of a champion in the game that he lost - the other top players would have found a way to battle through to win at least a set.

There's definitely some new players coming through - the power game of the ladies game is now slowly being phased out and variety, consistency, skill are coming back in!

There's some more Wimbledon thoughts in a thread in the TMF sports section....I'm a little addicted at the moment!

I also want Bouchard to win as I have money on her!

We got a Canadian in the women's finals, and a Canadian in the men's semifinals. Go Canada!
