Testing the Waters

Look, I have a problem, I want to tickle my boyfriend, but I'm not sure whether I should. We've been friends for nearly 12 years now, and we've been going out for 2 months. I know he's ticklish because of things that have happened in school years gone past, thanks to other friends of mine. The tickling I want to do is not going to be sexual in any format, just very quick, just to test him out (the reason for the title) But I'm worried he'll go all angry and pissed off at me, like he does with all my views on religion (I'm atheist, he's a strict christian), sexuality (I think gays r kool, he doesn't, he thinks lesbians r kool, I'm not so sure) and music (I gave him a bad impression of rock music a few years ago, and now he hates it, when it's my fav style) But I just want to see him laugh, coz his laugh's cute, and I can't make him laugh the way I can make my other mates laugh (by getting pissed off) but I know this will work. What should I do, tickle him and risk it, or leave him alone and keep this away from him? Please help me

Despite chrisheaven's always welcomed enthusiasm 😀 perhaps the best approach may be a quick tickle? A poke during an not-so-serious argument or moment? A finger down the foot while sitting on the floor?

Be subtle...test the waters, as you say...you might be surprised at what happens!

but once you have tested the waters and found them to be TICKLISH-- then you can tickle the **** out of him-can't you?😀

Yay, great news everyone! He's comin round my house on thursday (our 2 month anniversary) to watch movies, hehe the perfect scenario for a quick test hehe!

Anyway, like others have said, the subtle approach is best and if he's comin over to watch movies, you're right! The perfect opportunity to "test the waters" 😉 🙂 That's how things started between my ex gf and I, a great lead in to more tickles down the road 😀 The first time she tickled me on the couch, I believe her exact words were "hmmmmm, you're pretty ticklish! That's good to know ", with a mischievous grin 😀 That was my lead in to getting her good 😉 😀

Lukku, I can hardly believe if you've been friends with him for 12 years, that he'd go all ballistic from a tickle. Heck, I've tickled girls who werent my girlfriend, just were friends, and I didnt know them anywhere near 12 years! Good Luck, let us know how this all turned out.

Great, me and my bf were just together at my house. We were watchin Shrek 2 and Spiderman 2. I kept tryin to get him, but with no success, and it was all because he was wearin a bloody jumper. So nothing happened, he accidentally got me though. We were about to hug and he got my underarm by accident (I was wearing a tank top) and I just went "Aah, you got my underarm!" with a big grin on my face. Sadly he thought nothing of it and didn't get me any further, I wish he did now, but we did hug and kiss a lot (with tongue I might add) and that was nice.
