the hollywood brother thinks we all should take a little time to post on this thread what we are thankful in our lives for as the time of the hollywood brother thanksgiving draws ever closer to reality this week. the hollywood brother will start it off by being thakful for this site. in particular the great job that the moderators and the programmers do. also the great job that all the fellow hollywood brother posters do is something that the hollywood brother is thankful for. now the question is what are some things that you are thankful for?

I'm thankful I still have a job in this recession!

I'm thankful for the fact that this site has stayed active and grown over the years, rather than collapsing like the other forum I frequent (and moderate), http://www.cinephiliacs.com.

I'm extremely thankful for the unlikely series of coincidences that led to me and Karen getting as close as we have, and everything that's followed. 🙂 (For example, we first got introduced when LonelyKimiko added me to MSN by accident, under the impression I was somebody else, and then decided to toss me into a group-convo for the lols)

I'm thankful for having such great friends. It's been a tough year and they were all great. many thanks to them all.

I'm thankful that I have a computer which I know how to use and maintain (and which lets me do more of the former and less of the latter). I'm thankful for my friends both here and in the (so-called) real world. I'm thankful that that community organizer from Chicago got elected. I'm thankful that the cluttered space that I once lived in now looks more like a residence than a warehouse.

And I'm thankful for a really cool place to hang out online.

Having just returned home from a long trip, I'm thankful for the chance to spend the Thanksgiving Holiday with my soulmate, who also happens to be my solemate.


I'm thankful the political turmoil has calmed down somewhat, and that the American people have made a decision.


And, as others have mentioned, I am thankful that I still have a job that pays a decent wage in the current economic climate.
