How many others loved this obscure Terry Gilliam film when it came out in 1988?
I've always thought it had the potential to be the next "Wizard of Oz" for the new Century.[If anyone recalls,Wizard of Oz was not a popular film when it first came out,but did become so in the 1950's with the coming of Television].
Munchausen's problem was that it wasn't fully promoted,as Columbia Pictures was in the middle of being sold to the Sony Corporation.
The amount of theatres was also less than what was commonly assessed to a big budget release!
