.......yep its that time once again, but this time there may be a chance for us Pomey's to pull off a series win. We have won our last five test series, and stand second only to the Aussies in the world rankings.

It all starts at Lords, the cradle of the game, but the Sheep stealers have not lost a test match at Lords for seventy years.....seventy bloody years!!!!

Come on Barmy Army lets get behind the lads and give it a good shot this time.

It's not looking too good, England are at present 90-7, chasing an Aussie first innings total of 190.

Well...........

....clearly I do, hence the thread (doh).

The problem seems to be that our boys dont understand the rules of the game. Having Bowled out the sheep stealers so cheaply, getting a larger first innings total would have seemed pretty easy, but, someone needs to tell out lads that we need a HIGHER SCORE to win, not the lowest possible in the history of Ashes tests as we seem intent on acheaving.

But to be fair to the colonials, Mcgrath had a hell of a spell with the new ball, fair play to him, he ripped the heart our of our batting.


So yes Shire, I do care about cricket, if thats ok with you.

Quite a lot of people give a toss about cricket, hence record crowds to watch it. If you don't like Cricket why did you bother replying to Red's post? Was it simply to wind other people up???

So how do you see the Ashes going Red? I still think we have a good chance of winning it. Although I am surprised Graham Thorpe was dropped for the first test.

....I see he has thrown his toys out of the pram and packed in test cricket. Great shame.

The test? well, what a fantastic game so far, like the guy said on C4 it has been like watching a highlights package!


It could go either way at the moment but unless we work out how to play Mcgrath,the sheep steelers could be on for yet another lords victory.
