The Avenger's Movie Cast, Assemble!

They're rebooting Fantastic Four, which is awesome because it solves that problem and the Fantastic Four movies were terrible. They need to hand X-Men, Fantastic Four, Blade, Spider-Man, and all the other Marvel properties to Marvel Studios, because none of those films have been done right, especially not the most recent entries into every single one of those series.

YES They need to do my X-Men right! God those movies killed a bit of my soul! Made me cry on the inside.

The Wolverine movie hurt me in ways from which I don't think I'll ever truly recover.

That was the second X-Men movie. The third one destroyed my entire faith that these would ever amount to anything decent and left me a shell of a person.:xpeepsofa

I mean the Wolverine Origins one, the one that just flat out destroyed Deadpool, Emma Frost, Sabretooth, Blob, Gambit, Agent Zero, and everything beautiful and happy in the world.

Oh yeah they butchered everyone. I kinda had stopped thinking of them as real X-Men movies and more like live action crappy fanfiction. And they plan on doing a Gambit Origins too. :Grrr::objection::angry::frustrated:

I would've gone with Sam Worthington, personally.

THANK YOU!!!

I've also heard through some channels of my own that a plan is also in the works for a Magneto Origins... and on top I've heard inklings of a studio attempting to do an Apocalypse-Saga... BRACE YOURSELF!

WTF?! They can't do that until they actually get the X-men right! You can't up into a heavy story line like Apocalypse! Not with the way the fucked up the Phoniex saga! GAH! It hurts! They need to just stop killing my most beloved comic over and over.

Okay, let's just say I'm going to have to full heartedly disagree with you on this one... I loved the Fantastic Four movies and the Blade movies. I loved the Spider-Man movies too. And I don't care who gives me shit over it. But I do have a problem with the x-men movies. My main problem being that they screwed Cyclopse. He's my favorite x-men. They made all three of the movies about Wolverine. Which I didn't like, and then they made a movie all about Wolverine... And I really hated that they killed of Cyclopse. He was like in most of the first movie, the beginning and end of the second movie, and killed him off in the beginning of the third movie. That's the main issue I had with the X-Men movie. Wolverine's not even the freakin' leader of the X-Men. But because they had freaking Hugh Jackman as Wolverine they had to make it all about him. I don't have a problem with them rebooting the x-men movie lol... And I guess spider-man would be okay since it's going to take place during his high school years which is when he got bitten... but Fantastic Four, I don't like the idea of them rebooting it..

and I'm sorry I'm thread jumping, but someone else mentioned rebooting them first!! lol.. back to your regularly scheduled topic..

Magneto Origins was actually supposed to be the second Origins movie. It was supposed to come out like right after Wolverine. But now it looks like Deadpool is going to be the next movie, and X-Men: First Class because I haven't heard anything new about the Magneto Origins.

Erm. Hm. Well.
Cyclops was actually done pretty well in those films, because he is, and always has been, a gigantic toolbox.

Spider-Man 1 was decent, 2 was good. 3 was abysmal, and entirely unforgivable.

The only thing the Fantastic Four films got right was The Thing. Otherwise, they were just bad. They used the two biggest FF villains and both were pathetic. Seriously? The film incarnation of Dr. Doom was just sad, and Galactus as a cloud of cosmic dust? Realllllllllly? The actor who played Reed Richards is the poster boy for a wooden performance (not to mention they kept likening his power to rubber, which is incorrect), Jessica Alba has never been anything but someone who is nice to look at, and Chris Evans was just irritating.

As for Blade, I'll give you that the first one was pretty good. The second was a fun popcorn flick. If you're honestly telling me that you liked Blade 3, I just don't have the words.

Deadpool isn't an X-Men movie. It's a Deadpool movie.

I'm willing to let this happen only if they cast Michael Clarke Duncan is Apocalypse. Nothing else is acceptable.

Okay if Cyclops was your biggest issue with the X-Men we weren't watching the same movie. They have totally screwed up Rouge sooooo bad, made Storm way too bland, and what the fuck was up with Jean Grey and the Phoniex! I'm sorry but Cyclops was the only one that was pretty dead on character wise. An overgrown Boy Scout with jealousy issue. And if we want to talk about them killing off some one umm Professor X! Yeah he did die in one story line but in that it was at least a decent death. He's killed by his own son Legion. Oh course those movies screwed that character too by making him the one that messes with the Professor's head in the second movie. See! They need to remake all of them now. And trust me Cyclops got the sweet deal out of all of it. Really if you are going to have a charater called the Phoniex why WHY is it that instead of FIRE they get hung up on this effect that makes water defy gravity! Phoniex is a fire entity! Not water. Oh that pissed me off. And that is such a good story line that really could have made for a great movie. Cyc should be happy they killed him so they didn't see how pathetic they made everything.
As for FF I didn't get into that one as much but I do know they messed with that story line too. A lot was altered. Torch was an annoying character, Reed was kinda pathetic and Sue was made to be a bit of fluff when she really was a strong charater in the comics.

Okay, I'll start by giving you a loss for words by telling you I loved Blade 3. It was probably my favorite out of the three. I don't know why, I guess I liked the dark stalkers or whatever those people were called.. And Jessica B.'s bow and arrows were pretty tight lol...

And I guess I'll give you that, They could have definately done the villians in Fantastic 4 better. But the second movie was supposed to be more about the Silver Surfer (Which is why they named it, The Rise of the Silver Surfer) so I guess they didn't feel the need to do a better job with Galactus. And as far as the actors. I like Jessica Alba. Yeah, she's fun to look at but I don't have a problem with her acting. As for Chris Evans. I think he's supposed to be annoying. He was playing an immature hot head. And I think he did a good job.

i really liked Spider-Man 3. And i'm not afraid to admit it. Yes, it had it's problems. I didn't agree with some things. Maybe they could have done Venom better. Maybe they could have like shown Peter Parker looking at his reflection and seeing Venom, foreshaddowing that Venom was going to come, or something. I don't know... I thought it was a good movie. But i guess i'm just okay with change more than most people which allows me to like more movies based on other things than other people.

And about Cyclopse... I disagree about the toolbox thing. And he's still the leader and shouldn't have been killed off like they did. However you look at it, either the character, or the actor got screwed from the little screen time that he was shown. He should have been in more. if you want to kill him off, fine, but kill him off in the battle at the end not at the freaking beginning of the movie.

Patton Oswalt and Ryan Reynolds were the only redeeming factors of Blade Trinity. I just don't understand how that film is considered acceptable by any standards.

The problem with lessening the importance of Galactus in a movie about the Silver Surfer is that without Galactus, there is no Silver Surfer. In a movie centered around Silver Surfer, Galactus is just as important, and they dropped the ball hardcore.

As for Spider-Man 3, the problems were myriad. They dragged the Harry plotline out WAY too far. It got old in Spider-Man 2. "New Goblin" was just lame. Venom was TERRIBLE. Whoever looked at Topher Grace and thought "Oh yeah, he'll be GREAT as Eddie Brock!" is an idiot. Eddie Brock was a body builder, not a scrawny, wimpy stalker. I'm not even concerned about foreshadowing Venom, the characters were poorly written and poorly executed, and the plot was bad. The only actor who played his character well was Thomas Haden Church, and Sandman barely had a place in the story, and making him Uncle Ben's killer was just completely absurd. Not to mention the dancing scene. Guh. I didn't need to see Tobey Maguire (trying his hardest to look like Conor Oberst) doing lame dance moves down the street and then some kind of weird jazz number in a club, it was pointless, it was lame, it was just bad writing.
