The Chat Room and the Macintosh Question

Hello people that know...

Was just wondering if it actually is possible to use the chat room whilst using a macintosh (I've had no luck so far) and if so, what do I need to do it (cause I'm guessing I don't have it at the moment)

I'll shoot the person that says I need a 'real computer' or any remark similar to that 😛

I have a Mac, and I've had no trouble. The only problem I've encountered is that I can't get into the chat room using Safari, so I have to haul Internet Explorer out of the mothballs instead.

I work excusivly on Macs, and as many know am in the chatroom on a regular basis.

There were issues with safari when it was first released, but all problems were solved when Apple served a java update about six months back. There has been a new safari update since also. If you grab both you should have no issues.

I havn't kept up with the recently developements at Apple for a while, so I just need to check whether Safari is one of their code words for their OSX stuff... because unfortunately I only have access to MacOS 9.2.2

Safari is OS X only.

The room has severe issues under OS 9. It may not work at all. You can try the newest java they have served, but it's a OS X version.

You may have reached the end of OS 9's life, and need to upgrade now. It's not supported any more for the most part.
