It now says that there are 5,469,037 messages on the TMF.
But, when replying to a thread, the number attached to the last post in the thread is over 6,000,000.
What else is being counted to make up the extra half million plus?

Probably posts that for one reason or another aren't accessible, such as forums that were once used but are now closed.
