Hello all. I might not be well know here...but since I'm mostly on TT...meh.

So anyway, Ponder this. This forum...will not last forever. How long before it dies and its significance is left to obscurity? 10, 20, 50, 100 years from now? Will it be left behind? Will it be discovered later through reverse engineering or by aliens? Will it evolve into the Matrix...?

And what kind of impact do you want to leave?

For me...well I already did this on TT so you can look there for the significance.

No it won't,but i hope it will continue to elvolve in some form and will survive long after i have departed this mortal coil.....

If it were to die it would i think be replaced by something bigger, after all the community seems to be growing all the time.

Well, I suppose we will have to cleanse ourselves of these vile traits, and crawl back from annihilation.

Yep!! =)))

Back to the subject, forum - it's just tool for interaction, to connect all the community, and as modern as tech level allows. Of course it will be replaced someday by smth new. Finally, it'll became totally imperceptible; nothing will be but community itself...

In the year twentyseventeen all hell will break loose, the middle east will explode like never before and the havoc will spread world wide. London gone, Paris gone, Moscow gone, New York Gone, etc. Mutants will roam the reckage 20 years later and find this time capsule on some old PC in a burned out public library that somehow still has the juice running. One Mutant with trembling fingers will type in the words TMF perhaps lacking the motor function to type anything else. And this site will pop up and perhaps they will read all these words (if they can read that is) download clips of Viviana discover they themselve are ticklish also and thus a tickling renaissance is born amoung the ruins.

That's what I was thinking.

For everything on earth, there is a time and a season. Turn turn turn, baby!

How about when Jeff and all the admins/mods retire they just sell it or give it to another group.

And it just stays around and is passed down from tickling generation to tickling generation.

The same thing goes for TT.

I'm sure that will happen in one form or another, this kind of think is not going away.

When the Yellowstone Caldera pops, the fate of forums will be the least of our worries.
Earth has been too mellow lately, something's up. Could be next week, could be fifty years.

My opinion entirely. Let's muse a bit about this:

With new technologies and huge bandwidths, cyber tickling will get on a new level: Many people will own a cyber suit, able to transform touch-screen impulses to elicit real tickling impulses. With 3D-virtual reality helmets (which will shrink to goggles eventually) and gloves, as well as sophisticated simulations, we'll be able to tickle any celebrity we want, hear their laughter and see their body reactions.

Finally, holograms will be available to everyone. Like in Star Trek, holodecks to put every fantasy or role play into reality will replace movie theaters, and specialized companies will also cater for satisfaction of sexual or fetish appetites.

As observed correctly, the tickle community will grow. Even if it won't become mainstream, it will create enough demand for tickle-relevant productions. Clips will become interactive, meaning that you can actually influence the ongoings. They might also be replaced by holographic projections, up to life-size, the tickling happening in your living room.

Maybe there'll also be live tickle shows on the internet. For a small pay-per-view fee, you can eye-witness the making of a new 3-D tickling production.

All the above-mentioned technology is already invented, none of them is really science fiction. However, the current computers and data networks are still too small and slow to put those ideas into workeable reality. But considering the staggering progress of computer technology, we'll overcome those problems within 20 years or so. Several research institutions are already working at new systems, working with a million times the current speed (eg quantum computers).

This forum in its current form may cease to exist, but I guess it will always be remembered as the starting point of the tickling community.

Gotta say this forum has lasted longer and been improving for a lot longer than most specific-interest (including fetish) ones, which usually end up ripped apart by massive user disagreements within a couple of years, or just plain apathy.

20 years? So when I'm too old to attract men, I can have cyber men? That's just perfection, that's all.

Well , when twenty years-from-now rolls around , I suppose you'll just hafta rely on your intelligence , humor , wit , charm , & ticklishness to attract us real guys , then ... of which I'm sure you'll have no problem.

'Sides ... I've seen your pic in the members section. I'm pretty sure you got a good , long while before you start to lose any of your lovely looks. :bowing:

Hey you didn't say anything about me cuddling with you!

Everything comes and goes.
But for forums, I have seen a couple [non tickle related] go down.
One of them was not keeping well with the section 2257 rules, and another that wanted to become a "respectible news outlet".

For those worried about this one going away, worry not cause by the time that happens, all the regulars will have moved on. Things happen. People get mad or bored and move on.

The one thing that keeps forums afloat longer is if the members are generally respectful. One smart ass like me doesn't matter, but when there are groups of them, then the problems come.

This place is decent, I say don't worry about a thing.
