i dont think so! my boyfriend wears these! and with the right outfit they look hot! i dont think it makes him a crossdresser or anything! its all about fashion! and if it looks good, or "the shoe fits" then wear it! and these are all made for women except the jackets! (i just think its cute!! (^_^))
😀
Hiya everyone!
Okay i just want to say,,, Ayla, that is the absolute COOLEST use of the proverbial shoe-fitting proverb i've ever seen. *bounce bounce*
Now more seriously to the question: I'm with Kalamos on this one,,,
So what if it's a "girl's shoe" I mean the only ethical question i see is:
what's with the gender stereotyping???
Wear whatever you like! *nodsnods* A piece of clothing is only really gender-specific in so far as it is designed with the generally preferred style, colour, shape, etc. of the gender, and it's only done so the company will make more sales!
On the major down side,, such marketing tactics actually perpetuate gender stereotyping! :sharp_tee
Not that, i'm suddenly going to throw on my brother's jeans (God forbid!) or suddenly change my feminine look. Personal taste wise i prefer the difference.
But if you're asking an ethical question, Journia, then perhaps your concern about what kind of shoes are ethical to wear might be right up there with, what if the daughter i was expecting turns out to be a boy,,, does that mean i have to repaint the pink walls blue?!
Something to consider, maybe. 'Cuz if we're past that question,,, then surely your choice of what to wear is really about what feels good to you.
🙂
many blessings,
