i dont think so! my boyfriend wears these! and with the right outfit they look hot! i dont think it makes him a crossdresser or anything! its all about fashion! and if it looks good, or "the shoe fits" then wear it! and these are all made for women except the jackets! Now more seriously to the question: I'm with Kalamos on this one,,,
So what if it's a "girl's shoe" I mean the only ethical question i see is:
what's with the gender stereotyping???

Wear whatever you like! *nodsnods* A piece of clothing is only really gender-specific in so far as it is designed with the generally preferred style,colour,shape,etc. of the gender, and it's only done so the company will make more sales!

On the major down side,, such marketing tactics actually perpetuate gender stereotyping! :sharp_tee
Not that, i'm suddenly going to throw on my brother's jeans (God forbid!) or suddenly change my feminine look. Personal taste wise i prefer the difference.

But if you're asking an ethical question, Journia, then perhaps your concern about what kind of shoes are ethical to wear might be right up there with, what if the daughter i was expecting turns out to be a boy,,, does that mean i have to repaint the pink walls blue?!

Something to consider, maybe. 'Cuz if we're past that question,,, then surely your choice of what to wear is really about what feels good to you. 🙂

Why thank you Chickles. I like the girls versions of some shoes. Like these reebok sneakers. the all black ones. I had the male versions of them and they look so clunky. While the female versions are rounder, more....more neat looking.

On a general view I have no problem with other's choice of lifestyle. But on a personal view there are some things that are and will always be gender specific. Shoes would defently be one of them. Men's shoes were meant for performance and confort. Women's shoe were meant to show of their butts and legs. Sure it might be alright to mix some gender specific things every once in a while, but some things weren't meant to be used by the opposite gender.
