Usually doesn't happen if you're tied comfortably. And if you get cramps, that's what the safeword is for.

Personally, I think tickling is not as good without bondage because I can't let myself go as I would like to.

No, actually it doesn't. This is where you'll get that "six of one, half dozen of the other" thing. There are plenty of us here, myself included, who aren't into bondage at all and buy video clips in spite of it, not for it. We also somehow manage to tickle people without getting hurt.

So, while, like feet, it's often intertwined with tickling as a "co-fetish", having one doesn't necessarily imply that one has the other. Your mileage may vary, of course.

Anyway, like everyone else said everybody hear likes something a little different. With that being said there are some big groups. Many are on the S and M side of things liking the "torture" aspect of tickle play, however, many are actually aroused by being tickled and are turned off if the lee doesn't like it. Most prefer bondage, but a large portion also like playful tickling w/ no bondage. Foot partialism is a huge subset of people here. I think a while ago it was smaller with foot vs. upper body people being about 50/50. However, now days there is a huge portion of TMFers into feet. While I myself can't stand feet I understand how foot partialism goes hand in hand w/ a tickling fetish since people are often tickled on the feet. This is what probably initially attracted the feet people to the TMF. Like Myriads said, a long time ago there were no */M or forced orgasm types, but those have grown substantially in the past years. Teasing and denial are also creeping in, and I think it has a lot to do with the bondage and SM side. Oh and there are quit a few people who love nylons. I hope I haven't missed any large subsets.

I myself am a sadomasicist. It started with tickling, but have also gotten into other kinds of BDSM but nothing nearly as hardcore as you will see on some BDSM sites. Mainly teasing/ denial or orgasm control, also a little spanking, ice play, etc. I'm open to just about anything, but a lot of things you will find on the net, such as peircing, blood play, or extreme pain, are too hard for my tast. Yes Again. Less than 3 days in, another thread totaling to about 4 I believe. Got a problem with it? bite me.

So from all the data I've gathered on tickling, I have reached a generalization that tickling for most people in this community is ... What makes them happy? Hahaha! Kidding.

There's just too many types of tickling. Some enjoy being tickled with bondage for the feeling of helplessness, while the tickler enjoys being in control. Others would prefer a more playful unbound tickling with their partner. And I assume that all you "ticklees" are used to being tickled that the whole shock or the natural instinct of our body were to move away from that area being tickled is overridden by the pleasure of it, thus nullifying that feeling, is not compromised due to the many ways the tickler can give you satisfaction. Blindfolds and teasing to name a few, recreates the whole anticipation and "freshness"(so to say) when it comes to being tickled. Or whatever psychological kick we get out of it.

So on to my question! Which is more of a marketing point of view...

As a ticklephile, what do you want to see tickling overall? Be it in television, movies, or even the clips you purchase from the tickle clip site. In other words, if you could only tickle a person (or be tickled) one specific way what or how would you like it to be?

Bound or unbound? with the person knowing it or not? torture or playful? Ribs or underarms?

Describe your thoughts. And I know its a pretty long post, I am sorry but I couldn't really summarize my thoughts.

Personally, I prefer the victim (female) bound with plenty of access to the bare feet. Being a huge foot fetishist, I like lots of foot tickling and the more immobile the feet are, the better. Actually, some of my favorite bondage positions I've seen involve the person bound at the ankles, but with unbound wrists. However, they are in a position where it's difficult or impossible for them to reach or protect their vulnerable feet so they just end up flailing around. I also enjoy a lot of begging from the lee.

I enjoy playful tickling from time to time, but my favorite types are always torturous. As a kid, I was always hoping that some female heroine would be captured, tied up, and tickle tortured by a villain.
