Beer is not considered alcohol here, it counts as food! 🙂 (Although most Germans totally dislike Guiness, me being one of them!)

If we are talking about Whiskey or stuff like that, we would lose! 🙂

Brilliant analysis. You can most tolerate drinking what you are used to drinking. The Germans would win a beer drinking contest and the Irish would win a whiskey drinking contest.

I just wonder who would win an aquavit drinking contest, the Danes, the Swedes, or the Norwegians. 😛

Hey, it's all alcohol! 😀 My vote is still on the Irish, because when I think of each nation in terms of drunkedness, Ireland plays in a division of its own.

The Finns, hands down. XD We actually import their drunks to provide jobs for Swedish social workers. 😛

Well I suppose it's somewhat expensive. At any rate a lot of people go to Germany and other countries since it pays off to go on a shopping-spree there instead. I can't vouch for Denmark or Norway, but that's how it is in Sweden. On my first visit to the liquor store I found the prices to be reasonable, however.

I am of Irish ancestry and I am now just starting to drink...I may not be the best person to be posting whether my brothers would win in a drinking contest against any other nationality 😀
