The Joy of Socks...

As summer prepares for its annual inevitable finale and cool nights beg us to shed our beloved flip flops for the warmth of socks, behold! I am once again rekindling my love affair with the socked foot, ooh my.

From cozy socks to hot socks, I love them like mad. I love how they feel on the sensitive skin of my feet, how my socked foot feels in my hands, how the tickling sensation of wearing socks differs from bare skin, and I absolutely love how cute and sexy socked toes wiggling away can look and feel.

Sipping my cup of coffee and happily adorning a delectable pair of eggplant & grey striped anklets on this cool Manhattan morning, I am reminded of the joy of socks. I find them not only sensory pleasing but aesthetically arousing. Once again convinced and escaping any doubt that I possess a full blown 3 alarm sock fetish. And I am thankful, yay! Am I alone in this or is anyone else feeling some vibes? 🙂

Here in Texas its flipflop weather pretty much year round,and this does not sadden me in the least.😀 Socks however can be very intresting also.

I am reminded of a young lady i dated when i lived in Houston.Laura and i had not been seeing each other for long when she dropped by my apartment one afternoon.She was wearing jeans and cowboy boots with a nice blouse.

We sat down on the couch and she put her feet in my lap and asked me to pull off her boots.Being the gentleman i am,what could i do?😉 I removed her boots and saw she was wearing white socks.I started to gently rub her feet and she told me how good it felt.

Of course i had to try a tickle,and she giggled and said yes,i am ticklish.That was all i needed.I tickled her right foot and began to slowly remove her sock,tickling as i went.I finally got the sock all the way off,exposing her cute little foot.

I tickled that foot for awhile,then moved to her other still socked foot.Again i slowly removed her sock,tickling as i went.She giggled and squirmed the whole time and finally asked me to stop,which i did of course.

Sitting up she swung around and laid her head in my lap and was soon sound asleep.I sat like that for two hours watching a movie on tv while she slept.

When she woke up i pulled her feet to my lap and put her socks back on for her,with a quick tickle or two along the way.She put her boots on and i walked her to her car,got a very nice goodnight kiss and she said the foot massage was great and she didn't mind the tickling either althought it was not her favorite thing.

We broke up about six months later and i never tickled her again,but that was a fun afternoon.😀

70's - grls in those rainbow toe socks needed their feet tickled. 80's - white tube socks (especially under jeans) same trip. Now - I love all socks - save for plain black, and ankle socks (the ones that sit under the ankle) - not sure why, they just do.

Best part as well, is to remove her footwear to see what socks she is wearing....

I don't really get the foot thing, but I've always liked wool socks on men. The gray ones with red and white bands at the toe and ankle. They aren't gettable where I live now, or anywhere in Europe that I've seen, but were really common when I lived in Canada (NB). The temp fell as low as -60c and wool socks were usually worn over one or two thinner pairs...I suppose they remind me of my youth...cozy winter evenings...home-fermented apple cider...practising Nirvana cords in someone's parent's basement...
