Waitaminute... You said each person can enter one submission from each genera. Does that mean each genera will have separate winners?

I said that "IF there are enough submissions to justify a separate genre I will separate them into two categories". And yes, yes it will! I already have an idea in mind for how the cameos will work if that happens (and part of the idea should be fairly obvious)

... ... grr.... Now that you said it should be obvious, I feel like I should know something that I don't.. meanie.. now ya gone and made me feel dumb.
 
OK so another small update on progress:

I've gotten the intro scenes for this chapter done and have started work on the chapter's intro puzzle type thing.... Problem is, I've gotta take a break from it for a few weeks as I have burnt the back of my hand a bit badly... so it's presently bandaged up like a mofo and is making typing very difficult. I could get along with the game using the one hand, but I'm a programmer and typing that slowly bugs the hell out of me! XD
 
Ouch, sorry to hear that. Though I definitely appreciate not wanting to program one-handed!

Oh god, what happened? Pleas regale us with all the exhilarating details.

I recently cut the inside of my mouth in the area directly behind my molar teeth on the inner half of my upper jaw while I was asleep last night. My tongue rubs against it whenever I talk or breathe. It's actually quite painful, and depressing because I can't eat food now.

Well... The cupcakes a few minutes ago were well worth the pain.. and the trace amount of chocolate in my blood that entered through my cut.

But enough about me, what happened to you?

Got into a fight with a dodgy old kettle..... I won though!

The damn thing has a flat head spout instead of one the ones that goes out at an angle. So when I poured a bit of freshly boiled water out the over the day, the steam went up across the handle and caught my hand nastily.

That sucks. I burned my hand once while ironing my uniform. It wasn't a large burn, only touched the edge of the iron, but it still sucked and left a mark.

Ouch. I never done anything like that on accident. My experience with a burn was far dumber.

I got my finger burned by a miniature bonfire I built on my front porch using match sticks and twigs.

P.S. Never put a 4th of July smoke bomb into an open fire. It smells roughly six times worse than a skunk, and stains concrete.

Idea for the socks - can you make them an equippable item that randomly triggers small scenes instead of one game-ending scene?

Is this a thing that can be done?

It can be..... But it'd be a nightmare to code!
