An 80-year old man was stopped by a police officer for driving 70mph in a 55mph zone at 2:30am.
"Where are you going, sir?" said the cop. "You seem to be in quite a hurry to get there."
"I'm going to a lecture," said the old man. "A lecture on the evils of playing poker, staying up too late, and drinking."
"It's 2:30 in the morning," said the cop. "Who would be giving a lecture like that at this hour?"
"That would be my wife," said the old man, sadly.
