the ler's skill?

hi
i was sitting with my mate today and we got chatting.
i steered the conversation towards tickling, there are few others who i can talk to about this.
so i start teasing him like "i bet you can't tickle me" stuff like that.
so he tries the usual place but failed.
sides, ribs and underarms were covered in to many layers of clothes for him to break through.
but when he got to my feet......i got no reaction.....
he was more kinda scratching then tickling. but i was still expecting something.

i immediatly thought the worst "what if i am not ticklish?!" but then i remembered that light tickles are more my style.

but then i thought "what if he is just crap at tickling?"


i got thinking on this and just want to know your veiws;

is there such a thing as a bad tickler?
ever found one?

I don't know if it's a 'bad tickler'. Just someone with a different style then what is preferred.

Just because it doesn't work for you, doesn't make them shoddy at it.

I know different people get different reactions from me, and it is not purely that one ler is better then the other, it is just the connection of the type of ler to the type of lee. Like anything else in life there is probably a lid to every pot in here. It is just finding that right connection. I know I don't like digging but some lee's prefer heavier tickling...don't make a heavier handed ler and worse then a light ler...

On the ler side I prefer to use light nail tickling on my lee's, some like it some don't

Yes, the level of skill varies greatly. I think the greatest talent that a tickler can have is adaptability. Being able to observe reactions and adapt to what works best for that particular lee. 😀

I agree with Crystal & Milagros.

Those of us who are 95-100% lers have our "styles" of tickling. However, as Milagros said, adaptability is a factor. I also think a bit of chemistry plays into it as to how comfortable the lee is with you.

I think it's a matter of skill , technique and experience...what tickles like crazy on one lee may not do a thing to another....a simple matter of time and effort as one lee told me🙂 That is what makes a good tickling session fun...finding out what drives a lee up the wall using various techniques...but I guess if you've never gotten a lee laughing (ever) you might be a bad tickler 😀

I'll just echo what has been said already.

I think ego plays a big part in a bad tickler. Don't stick to one style and listen to the lee's response. Keep the ego out of it, don't assume you can tickle because your last lee responded so well. The basic areas don't always work.

In a semi echo I would say A bad tickler is one who is out for themselves, using theyre style and sticking to it if the lee likes it or not, as if the lee is dead meat without preferences.

And sure even that can work out fine if the lee does like whatever style it is, but overall to be a good tickler, you must be able to adapt to different lees or even to one lees different moods in order to acheive the best results.

So really, its ok to be abit of a lame tickler as long as the person your tickling responds well to what you are doing,.. like you can just sit there and in a rather dull and boring fashion just poke the same area for an hour... bad tickler? on the great scale of things yeah ide say so, but if that repetitive poking of that same area works for the lee than it dont really matter.

I've had a few "bad" lers in my time, although with a little coaching they turn out ok 😛

Yep, and chemistry is important, although there are some lees who are ticklish no matter who gets to them (bless their ticklish hearts 😛 )....

and there are bad ticklers. I made a thread about that subject a while ago, and some of my lady friends at local fetish clubs make me laugh with some of their bad tickle session stories.

I think that it's about suiting each other, a certain amount of tickle fore play if you like, tease, provocation, revenge, tickle fight or wrestle, do you use items, feathers, ice cubes, makeup brushes, i have to be a ler because i'am far far too ticklish to be a lee, my partner is not ticklish in any way, she just does not be affected by any amount of tickling. but i have to be bloody careful or i get murdered.
