In the last installment of our continuing story, Mercy Mew's surprise confrontation with a jar-bound medical specimen took a disturbing turn. One bad turn certainly deserves another...

So far so good. I like the way you take the time to establish the scene. Alot of people rush that and end up paying for it. You take your time at each location and you don't worry it. Giving three complete pages to the search at the end makes it really seem like an effort on Mercy's part.

It's only up to page 10 as I type this, and I don't know if you're adding more tonight or what, but so far it's built an interest and I want to see what happens.

Thank you, Vlad! :happy: Actually, the set-up scenes can be the most fun to devise and draw. As much effort as one puts into varying the tickling scenes, a certain visual fatigue to bound to set in. Expository and extraneous material can provide variety as well a chance to advance the story.

Ah that was great to read! 😀 You truly are a fantastic storyteller (which I really admire you for, because I myself am not so good in storywriting) and the atmosphere is just marvelously done; especially in the night scenes where Mercy is sitting at home and also when she walks along the deserted streets.

Though I'm not really into nylon tickling, that was a great scene too, especially the goblin/alien 's funny comments on the fabric of her nylon stockings.

Wonderful kudos, Scav! Thank you very much. And please, don't sell your own storytelling talents short! You accomplish such things in a different way (related individual portraits and commentary), but the impact is no less effective! You've built a vivd, impressive history for Kitzalia; now Tina is becoming an indelible character!

I'm so pleased that you and Vlad and others have made special mention of the night scene leading up to the assault on the mayor's mansion. I wanted it to be particularly eeire and atmospheric, and it's greatly rewarding that you found it so! Thank you also for your nice comments about the nylon tickling. It's not really my special interest either, but some folks had requested it and it seemed a good way to work in some variety. If I was able to pull this off passably well, it gives me confidence to try other unusual elements!

wonderful stuff! I cant think of anyone else on this forum or TMF that publishes such involved comix with so many frames. I really enjoyed the scene with sephie tickled in her bed. how delicious! and mercy hanging in the vines outside, tickled and vulnerable, very nice! fun stuff to read. a real treat!

I think everything I wanted to say has already been mentioned, but I want to add my compliments to you on another really great installment of your series. The expressiveness of your characters in combination with the atmosphere enables the reader to become immersed in this world you've created. I'm always disappointed when I get to the end of your comics, but renewed excitement comes from seeing that there will be another chapter. Bravo!

Very kind of you, Tkylfynd! Thank you! So glad you enjoyed the ivy scene! That was a last minute idea, a final excuse for a bit of tickling and a chance to give Mercy's confrontation with Litttle Big Head some visual interest and frission. It's rather thread-bare ivy... I didn't work out how to properly draw it until I was finished (that is, do the leaves first, then work in the vines). Oh well... something to remember for next time! 😛

What delightful comments, ShadowTkler! So happy the story fully involved you! That's what any storyteller is after! The expressive characters are fun to do, though it's sometimes a challenge to get the proper attitude for the scene. Thanks for letting me know the effort pays off!

DUDE!!! I LOVED THAT NYLON RIPPING PART!! I really liked how the lil gremlin explained as he tickled her bare feet. That was most definetly in my top 5 tickle toons. Please continue this awesome work!
