the male-female divide in tickling

hi all
i was thinking about the generalities of tickling and gender.
ive been thinking alot tonight😀
it seems to me that women are generally depicted as extremely ticklish, with a perfect cute laugh, perfect feet and a love for bondage.
and they are either tickled by another woman of the same mold, or a man.
now the men are usually depicted as, strong, tough tickle lovers, who prefer to be on the supply side of tickling.
this is not me saying how it is, its how i perceive it to be, its my opinion.
this also comes down to the F/M M/M debate, where a tickled man is not the most common place item.
i myself have run into this.
i am a straight guy, but i like mens feet. i know, its weird. when i see a mans feet, or a man getting tickled, it makes it easier for me to picture myself in that position.
a woman's feet will always be preferred, over a mans by the general population.
there are quite a few posts of males being tickled, whether its images, videos or art. but these dont seem as successful as anything that involves a female lee.
i think it comes down to an old stereotype, where the man is supposed to be a huge, strong, unticklable man, with rough feet and hands from a hard days work. which makes it strange, when, in my own experiences, most men are very ticklish. i know i am, as are all over guys i have encountered, though they deny it.
im not saying this is a huge issue here or anything, but this is something i have noticed.
i almost feel as if i should want to tickled a tied up girl, rather that be tied and tickle tortured myself.

anyone else noticed this, or feel like this?

by the way, this is only something i have noticed, it may not even be true. i dont mean to offend anyone at all, i just wanted to raise some discussion on this subject.

It appears to be this way to me, but in all actuality, I'm a tickle virgin, so I really don't know all that much about what's commonplace in the tickling world and what's not. What I do know is that I prefer to see F/F out of all things, and that I prefer to be tickled by females, most definitely. My preference for my tickler is someone who is crazy-ish with high energy. i think i understand what you're saying. while i'm finding that i enjoy being a ler, i'm still primarily a lee. i'm open to experiencing f/f, m/f, f/m, but my preference is m/f. when i watch videos, i like to see just the hands/arms of a male ler (so i can imagine him as whomever i choose) tickling a woman (soon to be replaced by me). the lee is not quite as relevant, as i'm imagining myself being tickled by the ler, although it helps if it's a female lee because then the giggling and squirming are closer to how i would respond. perhaps my preference for a female lee based on certain characteristics like giggling and squirming is comparable to your preference for a male lee so that when you put yourself in their place, you see a man's feet being tickled???

where i would disagree with your observation, IMHO, is that the men i've seen tickled seem to have much bigger, bolder and torturous responses than women (which is why i prefer a female lee).

I think what you say about the whole old fashioned role-picture of men and women is still pretty accurate in tickling. I personally am totally turned off by a tickled, submissive guy as well, I prefer to see guys in a dominant position.

That girls in clips are more successful is not a big surprise; men get stimulated visually more than women, and men most of the time naturally want to see women in clips. I am a female and my preference is F/M or M/M. I will watch the videos and usually enjoy them, but I am not really into F/F. Here's my two cents.

Though many tickle fetishists are set in their gender orientation preferences, the act itself is entirely gender nonspecific. Men can tickle women. Women can tickle Men. Women can tickle women, etc. It's the exact same act no matter who's doing it to whom.

The stronger your fetish focus's on the act of tickling, the less it's going to be concerned with gender.

On the other hand, if the tickling fetish is related to specific body parts, your fetish is focusing on the body parts as well as the tickling. For example, many guys (like me!) like tickling girls with sexy bodies. Other guys are only interested in tickling girls with pretty feet. Still other guys want to be tickled but only by women with big tits.

In your case, Wishfoot, it seems your fetish focuses on the male foot as well the tickling. This could be indicative of a broadening of your sexual preference. I predict that as time goes on, you'll become more interested in actually tickling these male feet yourself.

I think the higher proportion of F/F or M/F in the clip/movie tickling market is just because men have visual sexual glands instead of simple eyes and get an enormous pleasure of seeing physical beauty. That why Playboy magazine made a fortune and Playgirl magazine went broke, and everybody knew that gay men were the only ones buying Playgirl.

Of course women also like to watch, but is different. Is like when you compare collections of love poems by women versus love poems by men.
