Any movie buffs on here that might be able to help me?
It probably came out in the 80s or early 90s.
I remember when I was a kid there was a movie that I only saw a part of. It was about some sort of demon woman who escapes from her parents (her father wanted to kill her and just have more kids) and comes to earth. She engages in a romance with a male lead. And that's about all the plot I actually remember.
I remember there was a scene in which she asks for forgiveness from a nun only to be burned be her rosary beads, and another scene in which she's trying to find a pair of shoes that fit, but had to settle for men's boots because her feet were large (which is probably what interested me in the first place even as a kid).
I know no actor names or anything useful, unfortunately.
