I just watched the segment where the guy from Dallas talks about his foot fetish. I comend him for being honest and putting out in the open but, he went on and on about it. He didnt sound like a perve, but he did come across as a little wierd. Once again, mainstream TV missed a great opportunity to introduce our fetish (foot fetish that is) in good and positive light. Instead, they let a guy ramble on forever and make a mockery of it. All he had to say was " I love a woman with beautiful feet" period! End of story. And people wonder why it takes years for all of us fetish folks to come out of the proverbial closet...

Shining light on the "foot freak" and letting him ramble does... and I assure you it get's a lot more "water cooler" talk around the office too.

Im sure the media will do that anyway simply because it gives ratings for the "scandal\controversey!"

Hell, look at all the media blowup about Suzy Kobler on that one show or when Sting had a pic of him kissing his girls' feet.

The media will do whatever they want for ratings, whether he is "normal" or "not"

Then again I doubt a show like this would cause a "revolution" for fetishists anyway. Just like that Tyra show months back, just cuz tickling or feet is mainstreamed doesn't mean you will meet more accepting people. Hell Sex has been mainstreamed for years and there are people squeamish about that. If anything the negative multimedia shot like that can be helpful cuz its a convo starter. Granted i dont have friends that would discuss a show like that but if they brought up the dude(i just watched the clip) and talking about the weirdness, it could strike up a dialogue to address it
