As a Redskins fan, this is probably the most excited I've been since 2012.
Starting obviously with the draft. Nobody, including myself, thought Dwayne Haskins was gonna fall to #15. I went into the draft bracing for Dan Snyder to literally mortgage the house to move up. But we ending up getting our QB without lifting a finger. We also filled a pass-rush need in drafting Montez Sweat, a guy who many had as a top 10-15 prospect, but fell due an alleged heart conditions that appears now to have been a misdiagnosis. We got two top 20-25 players, and the only thing lost was a 2020 2nd round pick.
We also have Derrius Guice coming back after missing his entire rookie year. A guy who some had as the best overall running in last years draft.
The Trent Williams thing is concerning, but for now at least, I'm not hitting the panic button. I could end up being wrong, but I tend to believe the teammates/former teammates who've actually spoken to him, over random "sources".
