I observe Cat does live relatively close to me; in Lucerne Valley, I believe. 😀
 
I observe that we are less than 8 hours away from a threatened transit strike. 🙁

I observe that the strikers in NYC are being slapped with more fines and pay deductions than the extra raise they wanted was probably worth.
 
I observe that the fines they pay won't help me tomorrow, when I have to walk a mile in the freezing cold to the dentist's office. 🙁
 
I observe that I did get a taxi home from the dentists' office, for $15.
 
I observe some parts of the west coast is getting snow, I observe it is cold here but not below freezing
