What about you? You had your time to shine and it's over now!!! I'll take it easy on you only because of those pics of Tony's sprint car you sent. But just for now. Next time he hits the wall, I'm right back on the I hate Gordon bandwagon. Slacker's driving that bandwagon, by the way.

I'd like to see an RCR car get it and Burton would be great. But you all know by now, since the 20 isn't in it, I'll be ok with anyone who isn't a part of Hendrick Motor Sports.
 
Ain't she sweet? Seriously though, I agree. Burton reminds me a lot of #6 so I would be glad to see him win.

As far as the bandwagon goes, I think I may be the one who started the PA chapter. And since lk hates him so much, she gets to ride shotgun.

well since Mark is probably out..i hope Jeff Burton wins also..i like his brother better however..where on earth is he anyway? i love his accent..it's funny, two brothers, but they have rather different accents..
 
man, so negative to mark? he isn't out of it quite yet. anything can happen in those next 5 races and if jeff burton and matt kenseth have a bad race, mark is back in it. as for jeff gordon and hendrick motorsports, jeff is just having bad luck, and so is jimmie johnson. everyone hates them so much, but i mean, jimmie has ran well not to win a championship and other than martin is the best driver not to win one. but oh well.

but i hope jeff burton gets it over matt kenseth. just my take.

I believe that Jeff Gordon earned every little bit of disdain people have for him. He's a damn good driver but that whiny little voice is like nails on a chalk board and his latest comments about JR probably even made some of his die hard fans cringe. Jimmie...well that's partially a case of guilt by association I suspect. Jeff Gordon was his mentor and Jimmie just soaked up it too well.

Ever since Knaus got suspended this year, though, I think Jimmie matured a bit. He doesn't bug me as much as he used to or nearly as much as Gordon does, but as a GREAT MAN once said "there'd be nothing better than to see the two of them lock bumpers and hit the wall together." (paraphrase)

I remember that quote, though I think there was more to it. 😀 And that staement still holds true.

And yes, I realize Mark isn't out of it yet. Believe me, I've been a Mark Martin fan for many years. Very little would make me happier than to see him win it. I'm not just pulling for him to win, I'm pulling for others to badly screw up so he can win. And I'll NEVER stop pulling for whiny 24 to kiss the wall each and every race. Not to see him hurt. Just to see him OUT of the race.

i kind of thought mark was out of it but he's only 106 points out so he's still has a chance.

Not a bad race, although I couldn't have been further off, but that isn't unusual. Kiss of death when Busch won the pole. Hope the 6 car can make a run for it, but history says no. On to Atlanta!
 
What is this? No one here celebrating Tony's win? Not only did Tony win the cup race, but he also won the IROC Championship on Saturday. jd58 tells me he's also secured the million dollars for 11th place this weekend as well. I'm not sure how much he won for the Cup race, but the IROC Championship pays $1 million and 11th pays $1 million. Not bad for a fat boy.

But WAIT there's more good news! Had the joy of watching the episode of Wind Tunnel with Dave Despain that featured Jeff Gordon. A fan (a 24 fan I might add) wrote in to tell Jeff to stop whining so much. So Despain says "what do you say Jeff? Are you a whiner?" And Jeff says (verbatim in that whiny voice of his),

"I agree. I am. I whine too much sometimes."​

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Gee, ya think? Snort.

But wait, there's more. Most of you don't know this, but I'm not fan of Robbie Gordon either- another whiny b*stard. Nascar is currently investigating the driver of the Harrah's no. 7 car to determine if he intentionally threw roll bar padding out of his car to bring out the caution with 35 to go. If so, he screwed Jeff Burton royally but won himself the lucky dog and eventually a no. 10 finish. I watched the video and it sure looks mighty suspicious.

A fabulous weekend all the way around, despite my being hideously ill and sleeping much of it away.
 
Oh stop fishing for it. I congratulated you on your driver's wins this weekend. 😛 Sheesh, if I didn't like you so much, I'd say you're starting to whine like someone else mentioned above. :imouttahe

OK, tony can drive a car. OK, any kind of car. But can he cook a good steak? I guess with so many million he don't have to. LK get to feeling better.
 
Tony Stewart won again. But more importantly...........The great Ward Burton answered the call and is back in action. I told you guys he would be back!!!!
 
Tony won again, as kered pointed out. And he's got himself a personal trainer and he's lookin FINE. I know I like the fat boys, but day-um, turns out he looks better a few pounds lighter. His face is less puffy.

But more importantly, he WON AGAIN. Unquestionably the best driver out there right now.
 
Congratulations to the 20 camp. They are the best team running in or out of the chase right now. :bowing: :bowing:
 
well congrats to k. harvick on yesterdays win. it looks like jimmie's going to be champion. he only has to place 12th or better at homestead.
as a jeff gordon fan i've been disappointed in his chase run but then he did have 3 bad races. you can't do that and win the championship.oh well, there's 07.
as of today there are 97 until the daytona 500.( feb. 18th ) that means i have 97 days to turn lk70 into a jeff gordon fan 😀 .
i heard a rumor that yates racing might only race the 38 car next year and that rcr racing are interested in maybe buying the 88 team.
