I'm just curious - did you mean $40 or $400? I don't think I've bought shoes in over a year, and the last few pairs I can recall buying were probably on sale between $30 and $40. Sorry, I know little about fashion.

But as long as I'm near the subject, I have a real life question. One of my favourite pairs of shoes to wear tends to sit in the closet because the shoes are a very medium brown and as I've no brown in any of my rotation of shirts or pants the shoes are almost never worn, which is a pity. What colours or shades can one wear with brown shoes? If only I could have gotten them in black...
