I think what he's saying is that we need to do something more interesting. But I could be wrong. Anyway, I don't think your sacrifice was for nothing at all.😀
 
I kinda agree with 11225 here. But for some reason, I agree with Wade at the same time.
 
I'm not saying it was nothing. Wade, you and I both know that a fight with Karen is divine...what I'm saying is that the odd fight alone won't bring this thread back to full operable life. Basically, it's gonna take more then the Godfatheress of this thread to revive it so it lives long; it needs activity instead of people asking "Is anyone here?". (I am also to blame for that so I intend to learn my own lesson) An idea could be, instead of waiting for something, people go to the other threads, chat it up with whoever for a while then if the potential for a tickle fight arises, agree on it and bring it over to this thread. It would do double as it could bring some people back, if only temporary and get some new people warmed up to the idea that it's just harmless and hilarious fun and to try it out.
 
Well, for what it's worth, one will notice that at the beginning this thread wasn't a place for real-time interactions; you logged on and posted something, then the person you were interacting with logged on, maybe hours later, and posted a response; the tickle-fights were conducted that way. If you got tied up by someone, you were tied up every time you logged on until to managed to get untied. In other words, time passed more quickly outside of the thread than in it, where one face-off might take two or three pages of the thread but be conducted over several days.

Not saying that's the way to do things, but it does render moot the question "Is anyone here?" Because under that paradigm, everyone's always here.
