Bignorm868 said:ya, mine's on the fritz too, and before i can get back into some really serious gaming, i need another card, gonna cost me a fortune, though.
jesso, what part of florida are you in?
I need someone to tickle, I am soooo bored. Besides obdub's appointment is way overdue. And I wouldn't mind kimiko coming either. *Waits patiently for a lee*Bignorm868 said:oh, well that's why. i don't pay no mind to figure skating.
yall were acting like i didn't understand some international mega superstar.
I think it would. To sweeten the deal for Big Norm, Katarina Witt has been said to have very ticklish feet, and that her instructor actually used to use that as punishment when she was lazy learning to skate.seto749 said:Michelle Kwan has, like many athletes, transcended her own speciality and entered the realm of General Knowledge. (An example of this of a different sort - I know five people who have never played or watched tennis in their lives who would have no difficulty in identifying Anna Kournikova.) What struck me as odd was not that the person didn't know who she was or anything about her (I was not at all surprised by the results of a poll in 2004 in which a majority of Americans polled thought that Kwan had won at least one Olympic gold medal - she took silver in 1998 and bronze in 2002), but that he had actually never heard or seen the name.
Actually, I think people like that are very lucky. I pay no attention to many pursuits yet would recognize the names of notable practioners, and I would just as soon not have my brain cluttered up with many things of no use to me.
Maybe it would make you feel better (or even contemplate taking notice of figure skating) if CD were to send you his autographed copy of the issue of Playboy featuring Katarina Witt.

seto749 said:Yes, it was a year or two after she was no longer competitive to win professional competitions, when she'd almost completely given up on triple jumps. She even brought it up herself at one competition. She'd revived a program to a song called, "I Belong to Me," from an obscure Broadway musical, with which she'd never done especially well at two or three competitions in the past. In what may have been her first competition post-posing, she gave her best performance in years and finished second, ahead of two women who landed triples, and getting a mark from Judge #2 that was .2 higher than her mark from any other judge. Backstage, she said that she'd have to send that judge an autographed copy. If memory serves, the network had done a fluff piece about her posing before she skated.
cellardweller said:I take it that you are a figure skating fan Seto???
If you are, it's nice to find another fan! Do you have any "faves" you follow?
I must say, although she has a consistency problem, I love Sasha Cohen.
*grabs Seto's ribs, and starts tickling quickly*
cellardweller said:Hiya Wade!
Wade said:Howdy!
I think you should hold seto down and tickle him until he admits Sasha Cohen's superiority.
