Kinda rough--wife had some major family shlock...my roomie left for vacation...and then he goes away to study abroad...so it was kind of a low key, lazy day...

There was a little tickling today...she pinned me on the couch--for a minute or two--and tickled my left underarm, while she had my left arm pinned above me, and then when I tried to pull her fingers out of my armpit with my right hand, she used my right hand and put enough pressure against my own fingers that she used my own hand to tickle myself!!!! It was ridiculous...and she laughed at her cleverness...grrr...😛

anyways, at this christmas party, i met friends i haven't met since i was 10. so i go to the party, and out of now where, this girl comes up, just a year younger than me, and looks so much like christina ricci it just isn't funny, i thought i fell asleep and i was dreaming... she comes up and gives me a big hug and i just stood there and stared, dumfounded. anyways, come to find out, it was this girl i hated because she used to annoy me like crazy and talked a mile a minute. funny how time changes things, now she's soft spoken, and could very well portray christina ricci in a movie.

I'm so sorry, FL, I thought I posted this morning, but it must have timed out or something - the site is occasionally slow.

What I thought I posted was something along the lines of *laughs and trips hard enough to sprain both wrists* which really happened to me yesterday. It was my own fault - I have a pair of sunglasses for driving which I rarely remember to wear and the one time I did remember I didn't change when I stopped to run an errand and didn't see I was stepping on ice. Now how my left wrist managed to sprain itself when I only put my right hand down in the fall remains a complete mystery. At this point three common daily activities are absolute agony - squeezing a tube of toothpaste, operating a stapler (though at least one can do that with an arm) and shuffling a deck of cards.

I really did think I had retired into the umpire's chair and called Deuce! Maybe I am hallucinating; I do occasionally dream things and then genuinely believe they've happened.

That actually happened to me today (well, the falling and wrist spraining), which explains why this will be short, though typing is not too painful right now. I knew you were back, FL, though thought you were otherwise occupied, and this thread has been zooming along lately until the last day or so - very difficult to keep up with anyone.

Good for CD being in a state of positive anticipation; I've not been around long enough to know if you'd been in a slump, so good luck.

For now, I think I need a long rest in the umpire's chair.

No, you actually did post it, Seto. That was no hallucination. I know what you mean though. I've often wondered what in my life is real and what may have been fabricated. It is not so much like the Matrix, but more like Wolverine, where you have a mix of real and unreal, and you are not sure exactly which is which. This message, however, was real.
