It usually tickles, but that's also when being used by a person. If a machine is doing it, and it's happening in the comfines of boots, it might hurt. I wouldn't chance it.

How well can the foot flex in the boots?

That really depends on the boot and how tightly it's laced/zipped/strapped. With my boots, I can't really move around much in them. I can wiggle my toes, and that's about it.

ah...and do you think wriggling would be good in these types of boots?

Maybe a little bit of wiggle room. Never enough to escape, but maybe enough to move the tickling half an inch in any direction or something.

Wh-who said I was bored? *tries to wiggle her feet as the cold milk is poured on them, but having her toes tied back makes that nearly impossible. She watches nervously as the cats are brought in.* Uh oh... I'm in big trouble...

*she grits her teeth for a moment as the kittens rush over and begin to lick at her soles* Gyah! N-n-nohohohoho!! *the rapid licking of the rough kitty tongues quickly breaks her down into giggles followed soon by full-blown laughter* EeeheheheheheHAHAHAHAHA!!

Well, listening to me go on about these boots isn't exactly interesting! XD

*the cats begin to lick the arch, where one quite clever lil kittie climbs on top of the stocks and licks the bound back toes*

*squeals as her laughter jumps even higher once the cats start licking at the arches of her feet, the one cat licking at her toes causing her to desperately try wiggling her feet once more, only to find no escape from their merciless tongues* MAHAHAHAHAKE THEM STAHAHAHAHAHAP!!
