True....perhaps it's because the chat room is now here. But chances are that it needs to stay so some can come here in case they can't go to where others go.
 
Mmm, perhaps some sort of extra incentive is in order? Some sort of stimulation? Seems like the spurt of activity occurs whenever Sarah or the Suzu crowd is online.

Incentive!! INCENTIVE!!!!! (besides tickles, of course. xD)
 
There is also the high probability that many members are currently in holiday mode: busy getting ready for the holidays.

My expectation is that this thread and this entire place should pick up greatly just after X-mas and again into the New Year.

It also very common for people to get bored with the thread after so long and simply do not come back to it... especially now with the chat room. While the idea of the thread remains the same, so many TT members have posted here over different spans. Many members here including Sockstickler, Karen, Wade, Camel, the currently absent lonely kimiko, even ticklishgiggle (a.k.a. AnnieHall) just to name a few, have at some point graced this thread's hallowed halls and, for the most part, have since said their goodbyes to the thread as well. Since that point many people have come and gone through here, and more continue still, the thread has gone and will go through endless highs, lulls and rebounds in activity and even though posts may be short and repetitive in nature, the fact that this thread has just under 60 000 posts has to say something about it's longevity and continued existence: a somewhat immortal thread so to speak.

That's all I've got... NOW IS ANYONE HERE!!!!!!!

Wise post, Mr. Dog. 🙂 Still, a sort of extra incentive wouldn't be that bad of an idea...maybe not now, as you bring up a good point of Christmas being...well, tomorrow, and all, lol, but just an idea in general. Of course this thread isn't likely to die any time soon, wasn't implying that. Hmm...but maybe, if we could...host a sort of...tournament, or something, to kick off the new year? Or, like... *shrugs* I dunno, something, that would be cool. Inessential, of course, but cool. :happy:

What kind of torunament, or something or whatever, could we have that could attract people to join and participate though? I mean, it's hard coming on at a set time for something (I think, 😕 I don't know, I get confused easliy :umm🙂.
But yes, a tournament or whatnot, with some sort of incentive, would be interesting! :happy:
