*sighs* well, it's a long story, but I think the other half of this tequilla which I downed earlier is enough to make me spill anyway.

They cancelled the fireworks here. Which isn't normally a really bad thing, but I've lived here all my life save three years. And every fourth of July in my other town, I couldnt' help but think of the fireworks at home. They're just the best I've ever seen.

And now there's not gonna be any this year and I'm depressed *takes another swig*
 
That really sucks! Why, becuz of the weather?

How can people be so cruel in preventing such an amazing light show...GRRR

Yea, thunderstormed all night and most of today...and yes, amazing lights, not to mention the feeling in your chest when they go off...my granma's backyard is *the* spot to be when the fireworks go off---the courthouse is on a hill right above there and they set 'em off from there...PERFECT view...*kills the rest of the bottle*

So yea, what I wanna do right now involves sitting here and pretending to be drunk since I'm underage and live with my granma so can't actually get drunk😛

Well if ur pretending to be drunk, then pretend that you live in my home province of Ontario, where the legal drinking and gambling age is 19 so you wouldn't be underage... as for the fireworks, what you do then is have your own fireworks show. Of course it will never make up for the good ones but your own personal fireworks show (shameless safety plug: safety first - no wind, rain, enclosed spaces or unpermissed usage) will still be great.

Here...

*Dogg begins setting mortar tubes loaded with fireworks just outside the pool area and covers them with a temporary tent-cover... Dogg keeps them unplugged and unprimed.

These are for tomorrow and the best thing is: this is your thread Karen, you determine the weather!

I'm setting these off tomorrow evening
