When Walt Disney actually made cool movies

2 dollar bills

You just don't see the $2 bill as much as you did back in the day.

This thread is so awesome, I'm gonna save a copy on a floppy disc. It'll also act as a conversation starter when I'm in line at the video store.

I remember all those except the last. Cllotheslines....there's nothing like the smell of fresh laundry dried on a clothesline...

I once had a close and most unpleasent meeting with a clothesline pole, but that's a story for another time.

I'm amazed no one's mentioned dialup modems (US Robotics externals were the creme de la creme). Or America Online. Or Compu$erve.

Because to some, the 80s & 90s aren't old, just nostalgic!:runningdog:

^Just go to the bank and ask for them.^

..."Helm's" Bakery Trucks...they just parked in the neighborhood...and you walked to them.

..."Actual" Ice Cream Trucks...several small compartments around the box...not converted vans or "roach coaches" (AND NO CANDY!!!)

...Had $10.00...Dodger Stadium...Left Field Pavilion seat...2 Dodger Dogs...a Coke...and a bag of peanuts!!!...AND CHANGE LEFT!!!
...^ (I think Mils can relate to this) ^

...Bike races around the neighborhood...had a Schwinn String Ray...of course!! LOL

...We could walk anywhere!!!...without danger!!!...plus not coming in until the street lights came on!!!

I know the last two aren't "nostalgic items"...but nice to remember the old neighborhood!!!
