the one song that you absolutely despise with a passion...

That stupid picture song by Sheryl Crow and Kid Rock. I fucking HATE that song.

YES! That song totally freakin' blows!!
Before Glam mentioned that one, I was gonna say either "We Built This City" or the equally disgusting Pina Colada Song.

I'm so fucking sick of that Bartender song by Hank Williams, Jr. Every fucking redneck at my local pool hall plays that practically every hour. I think I'm going to have to find another pool hall soon.

All Summer Long. Why didn't Kid Rock just sing Warren Zevon's Werewolves of London and get it over with.

Others are:

Billy Don't Be a Hero
Hey Mickey

"Shake it" by Metro Station.

I fucking hate whiney college bands with those types of whiney-voiced lead singers. I hated them when they were Simple Plan and I don't need a second coming.

Is it any surprise that Simple Plan came through town earlier this year towing--Wait for it--Metro Station behind them on tour????

How do two bands like that hook up?

"Hey, I like your high-pitched, snivelling voice and pretentious college sense of entitlement. You know, like the world owes you something that you didn't really earn in the first place."

"Whoa! I was thinking the exact same thing about you!!!"

"HEY! Let's tour together!"

Do you ever feel like whining loud? Whiney, whiney, whine! Then shake-shake shake, shake shake it!"

"Don'tcha wish your girlfriend was hot like me....DON'TCHA"

NOOOOOO....SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I swear one of these days I'm gonna go brass knuckles into that girl's eye sockets.

some beatles christmas p.o.s.

it starts out " so this is christmas..."
i hate that fucking song!

steve

Always and Forever by Heatwave-I think I am the only black person on the earth that hates that song! It was like the national love anthem for teenagers in the eighties. To me, I thought it sounded like something that should be played at a funeral!! Luther Vandross revised it in the 90s and made it a little palatable, but my stomach nauseates every time I hear it!:eeew:

Yup, you are, I checked:

They DID play it way too much in the '80's though...meanwhile I'm reading all the posts in this thread and thinking you guys would want to smash my IPod with hammers, a LOT of your hated songs are on my Treadmill Workout shuffle...😎

Your response should've come with a warning label-I almost fell off my bed!

I'm sorry, everytime I heard that song back in the day I wanted to put a bullet in my (or someone else's) head! It's the most depressed sounding song I've ever heard!

I agree, the only reason I actually like it as A) it is pretty and B) I associate it with the slow-dance scene in House Party which is hilarious 😛

That song by Sugarray. I think it's called Put You're Arms Around Me? Every time I hear the beginning of that piece of shit song on the radio while driving I will risk a head on collision just to change the station so I don't have to hear it. :Grrr:

Lips of an angel by Hinder. Eyes wide open (creed) is a close second.

People keep mentioning Arms Wide Open by Creed; I know that song sucks and I want to hate it, but they kept playing it when I was pregnant with my second daughter so it has *meaning* for me dammit; I'd rub my belly and bawl everytime I heard it...🙄

I was on the job a couple of years ago and played the Creed CD (btw, I love Creed even though Scott Stapp is an idiot). I was the talk of the office that day.."she's listening to Creed?" kind of office talk.

I got them good the next day when I broke out the Heart greatest hits CD; that blew their minds for the rest of the week! See, I was one of the "wierd" ones who listened to the Beatles in the late 60s, Rod Stewart, the Stones and Aerosmith in the 70s. I knew every black power song there was, but I learned to listen to what I liked, not what everyone else was listening to.

What was that stupid song... "Going the Distance"? It was by a band called Cake. That is quite possibly my all-time hated song. Ever. I'd change the station or turn off the radio every single time it came on.

Your taste in music is right up my alley.

The song I hate with a passion is "Burning Down The House" by the Talking Heads. I think they are a bunch of robot stiffs. Everytime I hear that song, I want to blow my brains out.

Achey Breaky Heart by Billy Ray Cyrus :xlime:
