Mmmm, love the crispy, hot, and with a steak or burger the most. Thick is super, as is thinner sliced. Not so many since after 30, but still indulge occasionally. 😀

LOL a dieter's nightmare!
Due to my diet( low-fat, semi low carb) these are yet another thing I have to forgo except VERY VERY occationally, but one of the things I love. There is a roadhouse/pub here in Windsor called the Michigan roadhouse that makes beer battered onion rings.. and OMG they are crunchy , chewey and orgasmic all in one!😀
What I usually do now when craving onion rings is to saute onions( without the breading) in olive oil with a little chopped garlic.... not nearly the same, but good enough to keep the ring monster @ bay

Wish I could have 'em but if I did, I'd never be able to stop eating 'em and would end up becoming sooo fat I'd have to be carried around in a truck all day.

I love the taste of onion rings, but not what happens after I eat them: severe heartburn. 🙁
