The people that put us down because of our Tickling Fetish

We have all heard from people online and offline time and time again tell us just because have a fetish for Tickling That we are strange and weird and odd etc... we have heard it all in the book. But why do you think that theses people say theses things about us? When we all know perfectly well all the people in the world that have said theses kinds of things about us have been tickled or tickled others in real life to sum degree in there Life or still do on a Daily basis? Do you think theses people that put us down have had bad tickling experiances in the past or purhapes thier child hood that just made them really resent tickling and resent anybody that like Tickling more then the normal average person would?

I wpuld say that, yes, many may have had unpleasant experiences sometime in life with tickling, and being so put off by it, they can't possibly imagine how anyone could emjoy it, but they are just putting their standards on everybody, and we needen't concern ourselves with them. Some people just don't understand the attraction, so, I say, to each their own, and we needen't concern ourselves with them. Others, I think, may be in their own closets and, lest we open theirs, they are quick to point out ours, diverting attention from themselves. I, for one, have no interest in "outing" anybody about anything, so we needen't concern ourselves with these people.

Are you detecting a pattern here?

If someone can't, or won't understand, then they probably never will, so, chin up, back straight, shoulders set, and carry on! We needen't concern ourselves with those people.

As I've posted on here before, I have asked many female letter pen pals if they are ticklish, and gotten about 50-60 answers. The majority of women who did respond said that they are indeed moderately to very to in some cases extremely ticklish, but that they hate to be tickled. Many outside of the tickling community who arent into tickling hate the sensation of the maddening tickling, and the fact that they can have their bodies dominated by another person. My feeling is that many people who dont like or understand tickling see a ler with a tickle fetish as simply a troubled dominating person who wants to control another person's body through maddening tickling, and a lee as someone who is just enjoys being sexually dominated. They cannot understand the emotional and sexual feelings that tickling has for the ticklephiles. I say tickling is just like anything else, to each his own. If someone doesnt like tickling, it is not our right as lers to try and force our preference on them, but, on the other hand, it is not their right to judge us or say bad things about us because we enjoy tickling. It is simply a matter of to each his own.

I think it's precisely because for most people it's such a normal/natural or silly/funny thing, they never give any extra thought to it beyond point it occurs. It's oversimplifying a bit, but I think it's akin to someone saying they are turned on by blinking. Blinking is such a natural, everyday thing, that to most of our way of thinking it would seem kinda strange if someone was turned on by it.

Well in my opinion there will always be something wierder out there. But everyone's definition of weird varies. To us tickling is completly normal and acceptible, others simply can't comprehend it. I will say however that as tickle enthusiasts we're not given the same level of respect as other fetishists. Something like bondage is more accepted. I guess it's cause tickling is still kinda on the fringe of things. In any case other people's opinion's don't matter, we know what we want and we know what we like, they'll just have to learn to accept it.

hmmm...your question is legitimate but as a few have responded....do not worry so about the judgements others place upon you🙂 There are many worse things to be "socially convicted" of than possessing a tickling "fetish". I think it's interesting how we as people of all kinds ask questions of others to gain their perspectives on an issue we may have taken literally no time or little time to evaluate ourselves🙂 The question you ask is indeed legitimate as I stated but it is one that has no difinitive response (no one here can speak for society as a whole) nor should it have....my advice is to understand yourself in such a way that you can respectfully and with love respond to anyone that may have a question or adverse opinion of your interests...that way, you appear to be comfortable with who you are because you will be🙂 Additionally, a bonus in responding in such a manner is that you take the adversarial opinion as an opportunity to educate someone rather than defend yourself which may only exacerbate adversarial views on tickling (or whatever the issue is🙂 my 2 cents🙂

So- One thing we all do is consider ourselves individuals with moral character, empathy, and humanity, even combined with a sense of recognition of our flaws as well. There really should not be any different, discriminitory or cruel treatment of any of us for such minor differences in taste from what the "mainstream" conditions us to believe are valuable. Therefore, in addition to the rest of our countrymen and women, I trust that everyone here will focus on the importance of treating others who defy mainstream adherance ( in whatever manner) in our country, as well as humans throughout the world ( who may have slightly different practices and beliefs) with the same acceptance, love and respect that we consider ourselves worthy of.

The way I see it:

I can't change what I am any more then I can change who my parents are, what color my skin is, where I was born or what food tastes good to me. My sexuality isn't something I chose it's something that chose me. So how in the divine asshole of Zeus am I to blame for that? If it were completley abnormal no one else on the planet would have it....and as others have said there are much worse things you can be (such as a politician). Believe me....I've attempted to "cure" what others have considered an ailment only to lead me to madening frustration,homicidal angst, and suicidal depression. Thankfully that chapter of my life is coming to a close...but trust me, your much better off just accepting what you are.

I haven't really been put down because I like tickling..... Only one person said it was sick. Most of my friends who know say things like, "How can you even stand it?" or "God... I would just die if someone tickled me that long!"

The only people who tease me about it are my sister... LOL And since I actually took her to NEST without her complaining, she has a right to tease me if she wants to. 😛 And my mother does it now. Which is so much better than waking me up in the middle of the night moaning, "WHY JESUS? WHY?" like she did the day she found out about it. *giggle*

Anyway, I'm smart enough to understand that even though I am not at all ashamed of this part of me, not everyone needs to know about it. However, those that do are pretty much supportive, or more often than not, just don't give a damn.
