Scientists discovered that swear words help endure pain. According to their results, profane language during the test allows to keep your hand in icy-cold water for 30-40% longer.
The MythBusters team reproduced this experiment, and came to the same conclusion.

Now I have a question – if you swear, can it help to withstand tickling better, or not?
Unfortunately, we cannot ask Kari to participate in such experiment. So, what do you think?

My answer would be rather negative – tickling seems to be quite different from pain.
