Note this thread is not about reactions to tickling fetishes, more so about tickling in general. For example how do they react if you say "I like being tickled" or "I am very ticklish." Compare this with "I have a tickling fetish". Is there a big difference?

I have been seeing a lot of sex workers lately, strippers, adult massage girls, private escorts, and brothel workers (all legal in my country). I"ve noticed a lot of them seem to enjoy it. Here are some examples -

Massage girl 1 : She sneaks in a few tickles even though I haven't mentioned my fetish. I giggle. During the hand job when I am having trouble climaxing I mention I like tickles. She smiles and starts to tickle me.

Massage girl 2 : During a massage something tickles. She asks if that tickles. I say yes but I like to be tickled. She is like "oh, lke here?" And tickles my armpits and nipples. "oh you are quite ticklish"

Massage girl 3 : Probably the most involved! While on my stomach I keep giggling. She is like "you sure are ticklish." I tell her I like being tickled, she says she does too. on my back i mention the bondage houses, she finds that interesting and starts to tickle me like crazy, and does so for the rest of the session. At the endwhen I cum I mention how it didn't take long, and she said it is because she is a good tickler.

Then there is all the strippers. I have mentioned many in another thread. In a more recent thread when one did something that tickled and I told her that I liked to be tickled her eyes lit up "you like to be tickled!!!" and she tickle attacked me. There are also a few brothel incidents and of course the bondage houses, but I have found generally most sex workers find it cute and enjoy tickling.

Now compare this with real life. Lets say i told a friend I liked to be tickled, they would probably look in disgust and find that weird! I do remember telling a stripper i liked to be tickled and she said she found it funny but i think deep downshe found it weird. She did often tickle me, often when i didn't ask, but I think it was to get money. she was quite young, about 18. But anyways in real life, some friends know I"m ticklish and they have playfully tickled me, no issues. But if they found out about a fetish, no doubt things would change!

Interested to hear your thoughts!

No matter what the working girls think of your proclivities, the customer is always right and they are being paid to perform a service; in your case a pretty harmless one. Conversely your friends' opinions about your specific fetish do not have any impact on their incomes, and they express themselves according to personal taste rather than hopes of financial advancement.

Exactly. No matter what they really think, they'll always act like they are into it or find it cute or whatever. Because that's their job! When a customer calls me with a stupid-ass complaint, I also tell them how annoying I find it and how well I can understand although I think the person is pretty much out of their mind. Because that's my job!

Yes that is all very true. But no doubt tickling is more accepted than other fetishes in non bondage sex worker roles such as strippers, escorts etc. If I told the stripper I liked golden showers or whatever they may cringe, but since tickling is kind of cute they can play along.

Oddly enough, not all workers can do tickling! I have met two sex workers so far who refuse to do tickling as they can't stand to be tickled, therefore they can't participate in tickling of any kind, even as a ler.

It sounds like the only people you've told "I like being tickled" or "I am very ticklish." have been professional sex workers. Have you actually said this to any of your friends? You may be surprised with how they react. I've heard kinky stories from my gal pals and some seriously disgusting things from my buddies, so tickling sounds kinda prudish compared to that.

Now, while these pros are clearly more worldly than the average gal, you can't remove the fact that you're paying them to make you happy. Now, I've talked to strippers and tried to establish a general rapport with them, but I always go with the "believe none of what you hear & half of what you see" mentality {and you can all imagine what half I'm seein! *hey-yo!}

In addition to what the other folks have said, I'd be willing to wager that the reason your friends look at you funny when you mention you like tickling is because of one of three reasons;

* They assume you're telling them this because you want to tickle/be tickled by them, and they're taking it as a come-on, which is awkward, or

* They're the same sex as you, which is weird unless you're (both) gay, or

* They want to know why the hell you're bringing it up if it's not either of the first two reasons.

Nearly all of my RL friends know. None of them give a shit. I honestly doubt it has anything to do with the fact that everyone in California is weird, because I had similar experiences both back east and up north.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again; if you're weirding out your friends, it's because you're doing it wrong. And with some people, you shouldn't be doing it at all.

PS - Yes. Those sex workers are telling you what you want to hear. Or do you believe the strippers in the club are really into you, too?

I know what the OP's talking about. I visit strip clubs a lot, but I never tell the girls that I "like to be tickled." If they do something that tickles me I'll react, and sometimes I'll react in an exaggerated manner in order to make sure that they realize I'm ticklish. Then I wait to see if they take it upon themselves to tickle me, because I haven't told them that I like it, so if they do tickle me it's because they find it flirty, fun, etc. I would say about half of the strippers that find out I'm ticklish proceed to tickle me more. Some seem really glad to find a ticklish guy, and note that at no point have I told them that I like it. I don't think it's because they have a tickling fetish, but I think that tickling, to a lot of vanilla people, falls into the category of "flirtatious behavior/foreplay," and when you're in a sex worker situation, that's the kind of thing that both parties are looking for.

And, incidentally, the reason I don't tell the strippers that I like the tickling is that the few times I have tried that, the girls have gotten confused and weirded out. Strippers are definitely on the lower end of the sex worker hierarchy and very few have a good business sense. If they did they would want to engage in a guy's fetishes for more money but I've found that most of them don't. The average stripper wants to do her dance on stage, disappear into the dressing room for an hour, and then make a lame attempt at getting more money from a few customers. The way to go for tickling or fetishes is domme, escort, or massage girl, someone who is used to being paid to engage in fetish play or to touch.

when money is involved the motivations should always be suspect. not all react negatively upon learning of one's interest in tickling.

Ok, I thought I"d finally reply to this topic. Years ago I used to hint about it to my rl friends, not so much now. Like I would often hint at my friends that I was ticklish and some would sneak in playful tickles. Now I have told heaps of sex workers as I said above. Oddly enough even though I tell my friends I go to strip clubs and see escorts etc I leave about the tickling stuff. I also leave out the bondage houses. It's a bit weird!
