Hey buddy. I speak along the same lines as everyone else on this issue. The Main Stream Media has always made a grain of sand into a desert. The bottom line here is that I am a fetishist and I am proud to be one. Like you, I don't go around telling everyone in the nation what I am but if they ask I will tell. Why the hell does it matter to anyone what that is as long as it works for you. I never listen to the main stream media on issues of any fetish. I have heard some say it is bad publicity for our fetish. Not really. The people bashing it are most likely not into feet or tickling. There are certainly many us out there. I heard it said last week on one of the talk shows that 10% of the male population has a foot fetish. I Would just say that is kinda like betting; you find a gal, you confess her what you like and then is up to the future generations to say if you did the right choice or not.

I am a normal person, so is unlikely that someone will invite me on the view to talk about my foot and tickling fetish; but would be weird for me if someone would find out about it on my workplace (few gals already had a sort of intuition thou, but is not that bad), but is also true that is unlikely that i would go out and tell about it to anyone, other than my actual partner.

Well, I really can't agree with Rex when he says it's a "private matter". Anybody making clips and selling them to the public kinda sacrifices that. I used to only share this stuff with my man, but then we made the choice to go "public" in a way with it. I had to live with the fact that if somebody recognized me, I would be ok with it, and I am.

Maybe Rex and his wife thought the community was minimal and it would never be known?

I like your style jhop. The only person that matters when it comes to MY preferences in the bedroom are the people I share them with....my girl. And if she can't accept them then I need to find another girl that will....and there are MANY that will accept it.

As I get older i'm more open about my sexual preferences and it's LIBERATING! I don't have fantasies anymore....because they have turned into past experiences or plans for the future. My dating life is far more efficient in that as opposed to waiting months to hear that my girl hates my fetish...I can find out her attitude on fetish during our first sexual conversation. When one makes it a non isuue...it becomes a non issue. I'm not sure if he's addressed the issue yet...but i'd hold a press conference and say "My wife has gorgeous feet and I love her, if you have a problem with my loving marriage meet me outside" and crack a joke or two about it. The story would drown after that. Really..who cares!

It's funny, because tons of other celebrities have come out saying they have a foot fetish and it doesn't get blown out of proportion either. You just have to be comfortable with yourself, but the media likes pulling on threads until there's nothing left to unravel after they're done ripping it up.

They're like bullies. Show you're timid or sensitive, even a little~ and people will take advantage of it.
 
I couldn't be less interested in the media frenzy. I've never seen the draw in "outing" oneself to random people, and for the people that should know one would hope that such friends and significant others would be open to whatever makes a person happy.

Look at it this way: Would it be normal for a guy to walk around saying to random friends "Golly, I love blow jobs!" Not so much. Why then, are people so concerned about letting others in on the "secret"

I only mention this to support this point, and it has been shared above: Who cares what the media, the blogs, or the mainstream conservatives have to say? The only two entities that matter to Rex Ryan should be as follows; his wife first, and the NY Jets second. That's it. Obviously, his wife is in on it. Whether we like it or not, everyone who is employed must conform with the standards of conduct of the organization by which they are employed. It seems the Jets are disinclined to take any action. Good for them.

In my opinion, that's the end of the story - at least the part that matters anyway.
 
I believe this was all more about them putting videos about it on the internet rather than having the actual fetish itself.

Whereas, I know he was a little mortified that it became national news, he's gotta know that it truly isn't a big deal. He's into his wife, and that is so normal... whether it be her feet or her breasts or her legs... SO WHAT!

My hubby and I talked about it when we heard it on the news, and yes we did laugh and make feet jokes (F-E-E-T! Feet! Feet! Feet!). We're a bit insensitive. We also acknowledged that there are SOOO many feet guys in the world. I feel like 50-70% of the men out there are into feet in some way. So he is somewhat a celebrity... so how it that sensational? It's only news if he freaks out about it.

It isn't like he sent naked pictures of himself to female staff members! (We all know who did that! 😀 ) I'm assuming that it doesn't change the job he does as a coach.
