Here's a cheer for one evil arsehole we won't have to hear from again. Ian Huntley is now starting a double life sentence and his girlfriend (ex) Maxine Carr was given three and a half years for Perverting the Course of Justice.

She'll get out sometime in the next year because of time already served, but that is one lady who will never be able to go out without looking over her shoulder.

That's double life as in he got two life sentences, Indy. Not that he was leading a double life.


Good article though. I especially liked the bit about "responding by trying to break the glass". I've been saying similar things for a long time about the desire to see vengeance wreaked through capital punishment and the "how do we turn Earth from a prison to a paradise" question that some have posed in my long threads about politics. If something's fucked, don't break the mirror you see the reflection in, because the original will still be fucked. Change what is causing the relection and everyone is happy.
