Looks like my plans for this series is going to be screeching to halt a lot sooner than I was hoping. Well you see me and Neko had decided to come up with a comic book and sale it together. Well I came up with a script and she drew the pages. It was a pretty good collaboration. You see when we decided to do this Neko was going through a rough patch. She emailed me and asked me for some advice on some things. Well I felt really bad about not being able to help her, so I came up with a great idea. We would work together on this comic. Well it took a little longer than I was hoping it would, but eventually the comic came out. Well we sold it, made a great profit, but it wasn't enough for her.
So I tried to increase the sales some more, but it didn't seem to matter. So far I've emailed her over 7 times telling her how well we could do on issue 2#, but all she asks for is the check for the comic, which I have no control over. Lulu sends out royalties monthly so it's not like I can do anything about it. She has the user name and password for our account as well, but still it's all she asks for. Also I would like to note that she went into this knowing full well that it would take a month to get the profits for this comic sent to us and she still agreed.
So now I'm stuck. I can't continue with this series unless I can find another artist who is willing to collaborate with me. I have the script ready. I just need an artist.
