So, where I work it's myself and another person. She has a foot tattoo and often wears flats and gets pedicures. Since we are the only ones in our building...she is often putting her feet (still in shoes) up on the desk. She is also very flirty and has been playful in the past. Well today, she asked if I would 'touch up' her tattoo (with a marker, and yes she was joking around) because it was fading. I wanted absolutely nothing to do with that situation, just because I didn't want anything to backfire. That would've been a perfect opportunity to tickle and Yes, I do WANT to tickle her in certain situations, however, I'm not looking to fired/sued. #thestruggleisreal

You're response shows that you're not stupid. It is a tricky situation. However, if you decide to go forward, it would be best to do it outside of work on a personal level.

Yes, these sorts of chances often present themselves, and often when at work.

Better to miss a chance than to take it all guns blazing and end up having awkward repercussions, either with the person, or with customers/the boss walking in etc - so never beat yourself up about it - much better to post a rant about it here like you have 🙂

It takes a lot of awareness of the 'bigger picture' as well as a good judgement of a situation and of a person to carry out spontaneous tickles in an acceptable way.

It sounds like you have a good working relationship with the lady, so maybe socialise with her outside of work - you'll probably have a nice time and seeing as a tattoo will always be a talking point, you might get the same chance again, but in a better situation.
