The surprise tickle vs The planned tickle

What tickles you more?
When someone comes up to you unexpected and tickles you or
when you and your tickle partner are doing a planned session and
maybe the anticipation of what's about to happen makes you that much
more ticklish.

To me, the unexpected tickle tickles more. That is why I am blindfolded during the sessions I have with Goddess Shelly. 😀

Planned tickling tickles more. I don't like to be tickled by people I don't like to be tickled by (as obvious as that sounds) so when someone just comes up to me and tickles me my natural instinct is to downplay my response as much as possible, including eliminating it all together if I can, until I know who just touched me.

I think this has come from years of trying to prove to my family that I'm not ticklish. And not wanting to encourage creepers at gatherings.

surprise because if i know its coming i can try to put a mental block on the tickling. If no clue i seem to squirm a lot more

They are both great in their own ways. The surprise tickle is always tons of fun but the planned one usually involves bondage and tools of the trade, ect. You can still have that element of anticipation and surprise with the planned session if you use blind folds =)

I try to plan for surprises. In other words, when I'm out in public, I look for opportunities to surprise people. I may hang out in areas that provide a quick getaway. Airports, bus terminals, and rail stations are good for this. Or I'll deliberately walk down a street that has a sidewalk close to parked cars, scanning for that open window with the bare feet sticking out.

But I've found that theme parks and water parks provide the best opportunities for surprise tickles sans repercussions.

I'm only ticklish at all when it's a surprise.

Unpredictable tickling is what makes me the most intense tickles. The trick is not in planning or not, the trick is in making impossible for me to see what will happen or what is happening. SO if I can not see my feet, they are super ticklish!

Vice versa, if I can see them, they tend to be less ticklish or not ticklish at all.
