As for gatherings in the LA area... not sure but a bit further up the PCH near SF...you may want to seek out dvnc and QBWeaver as they host gatherings on a regular basis.
I KNOW they would LOVE to HAVE you there! Bring a hankerchief as I am sure you both will be tickled to tears! 😉 😛 😀
