With the Undertaker seriously contemplating retirement I was wondering what foe over his long illustrious career was the one guy that really gave him fits. The one guy who gave the Undertaker doubts about the outcome of the match and maybe even put a chill down his spine.
So who would it be? Mankind? Randy Orton? The Great Khali? Kane? I'll post my vote for Randy Orton...the Legend Killer bent on destroying the legend of one of the WWE's greatest athletes in some vicious matches!

He has a few

Mankind - Until the hell in a cell match ath KOTR Undertaker had never beaten mankind and they were in all kinds of matches , Casket , Boiler Room Brawl even a burried alive match .

Shawn Michales - The first ever Hell In A Cell match between them was epic

Stone Cold Steve Austin - During the attitude era they had some great matches such as Burried Alive , First Blood and just regular matches i mean who will fo rget when Taker hoisted austin up into the air on his giant symbol as Raw went off the air

While his on-going rivalry with Mankind was epic, his most dangerous foe I'd have to say was Giant Gonzales. Really old school, I know, but I don't believe Undertaker ever beat him. (please correct if I'm wrong on that)

It's Kane. Prior to his arrival it was Mankind. The Undertaker was reluctant to battle his brother at times. Kane was just as imposing as the Undertaker and could get inside his brothers mind like no one else. And we never saw anyone handle 'Taker like Kane did when he arrived. He was the only one who I thought could be more invincible than 'Taker.

Yea Undertaker beat him because they wrestled at WM

In his original incarnation, Kane was probably the most menacing foe that The Undertaker ever faced. I'll never forget how it took three Tombstone Piledrivers for Taker to finally put Kane away at WrestleMania 14. That's not to take away from any of the others. HBK, Mankind and Austin, among others, were all good foils for the Deadman.

Isn't it true that the only wrestler to ever squash The Undertaker was The Great Khali in their first official match on PPV? My friend told me Khali finished off the Taker with a chop to the head in about 5 minutes and pinned him cleanly. I was curious because when I first saw Khali not too long ago while watching the comedy film Get Smart with my amigo I thought, how can anyone beat this guy? He's the size of a house!! :yowzer:

Never saw the entire match, but I do know that the end of the match saw Khali cleanly pin Taker by placing one foot on his chest for the pinfall. Probably the worst loss, or at least most embarrassing, of the Deadman's career.

Right! That's the one I saw!! 🙂 The one where Khali put his foot on his chest and the ref counted 3 without any silly gimmick endings or what have you. My friend told me it was The Undertaker "putting over" Khali and he was shocked because he's a big fan of Taker and like you he never saw The Undertaker so annihilated in a match. Then later on he told me that the little rapper guy John Cena beat this human skyscaper twice!! I almost looked like this when he told me that...😱

They've booked Khali as a lot more beatable since then. He's since lost to the likes of Triple H, Batista and even Jeff Hardy (albeit with help from Triple H). Khali is even doing this goofy good guy schtick now where he comes out with his manager and hosts a Kiss Cam. Annoys the heck outta me, but to each their own. 😀

Thanx for the info! I'd love to see Khali wrestle Triple H. They have all these matches on YouTube which is where I found the Khali squash of Taker we talked about.

It's gotta be Kane. The Evil brother idea was the best. Unfortunetly they took it to a point where they didn't know what to do with him anymore and then the charatore of Kane went down hill. Kane just like taker, ownly bigger and stronger so you could actualy believe he might win out in the end. I like the Orton angle too, but Kane is my personal favorite.
